Without going back in the thread did Rodon look good? The numbers look good, but how did his fastball look?

I think this is just who Luis is at this point. If two of Grandal, TA, Abreu, or Eloy get hot for a week or so, oh lord!

Actually Cesar was brought in so Leury wouldn’t be an every day starter at 2nd, yet Leury has vastly outplayed Cesar since the trade. Kimbrel was brought in to stabilize the bullpen due to lack of a RH set up man and our failures in the 8th inning. He has done neither of those.

I also just watched the series for the first time a few months ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to the movie.

I have no doubt that he’d miss and the fastball would go right down the middle for a hit.

Think ya gotta go Gio in the first game. He’s been less injured and better than both Rodon and Lynn in the second half. Second game is a coin flip, they have to be looking at the stats against Lynn in Houston compared to home.

I was young and only remember the tail end of Big Hurt, but Luis is by the far the best all around ball player I’ve seen in a Sox uni. Honorable mention Wilson Valdez
