  1. Like all those ultra-liberals on the Supreme Court? 1) They're not ACLU cases. 2) Do you have sources other than WorldNetDaily? The page I found those 3 cases on is an editorial and advertisement for a book about how there is no separation between church and state, including an article by David Barton, famous fake quote-creator. 3) I can't find any information on this Judge Kent case that isn't from WND or some blog quoting WND. 4) Raymond Raines was punished for fighting, not for saying grace. 5) I do agree with you on the Kayla Broadus case, though it seemed to have been far exaggerated. "Silenced and scolded" is a bit off. She was told to not invite her classmates over and pray loudly. She wasn't told she couldn't pray at all. A lot of these types of cases seem to be more urban legend than factual account.
  2. Turn around and do what? The only time the ACLU is mentioned in that article is when some guy says OH I BET THE ACLU WOULD STAGE A RIOT IF THEY TAUGHT ABOUT JESUS HAW HAW HAW. Oh, and also, the article is largely full of s***. The controversy was that they were teaching too much about Islam's "glory days" of science and tolerance and too much about Christianity's crappy times like the dark ages, not that students had to practice Islam in any way. Thank you WorldNetDaily, for your always objective coverage of issues and use of sources like the Assist Ministries.
  3. Thank you providing 0/10 actual cases. Win provided 4 specific examples of the ACLU defending Christians. Rarely are there any problems with Jews putting menorahs in front of city hall while banning other religious icons or Hindus trying to put their creation myths in science classes or putting sculptures or Muslims getting tax money to build a new mosque. I didn't forget anything. All I asked for were some examples. I know the ACLU can get too picky in some of its cases, but if you're going to say some bulls*** about OMG THEY WANT TO BAN CHRISTIANS I HAVE HUNDREDS OF GIGABYTES OF FILEZ ON IT then you could at least back it up a bit.
  4. Don't forget "Declaration of Independence banned at California school"!!!
  5. OK, then post 10. Edit: Oh and please make sure they involve an individual's expression of religion and not a clear case of government institution of religion.
  6. There was a Swedish priest who was inciting people to violence against homosexuals and he got arrested for it. Some fundie groups are trying to spin it and say he is being persecuted for "teaching the Bible" (ie that being gay is sinful), so therefore Sweden is the devil and it's a good thing Swedes died.
  7. i like these ads because the people in them sing better than she does on her best day

17/20. I remembered seeing a Dateline/2020/whatever show about this and remembered the real ones had more movement around the eyes.

I think SLP should be below. Sports Bar is more closely related with Pale Hose Talk, so it should be closer.

    Worst. Candidates. Ever.
  14. I don't think that's Heidi Klum. Looks more like Daniella Pestova.
  15. Hell yes she did.
  16. Roll Another Joint, censored edition
  17. I remember the test was only like 4 big questions, and 2 of them were extremely easy. One had a graph with some guy's position over time and the questions were just about his velocity, acceleration, how far he went, etc.
  18. I got low Bs in Calc BC (mainly because I didn't do the homework) and my teacher recommended I not take the AP test because it would just be wasting money. Took it. Got a 5.
  19. Michael Jordan is like 34 levels above Dale.
  20. I didn't follow this case very closely, but it seemed to me from news stories and a little Court TV that the prosecution was doing a f***ing horrible job and they had nothing but circumstancial evidence. Then suddenly 3 jurors get the boot, quick conviction, quick death sentence.
  21. especially Mati
