  1. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 11:02 PM) nope it doesnt work with the iphone, i wish it did. is your ipod an ipod touch? Nah, it's the last generation before the touch.
  2. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 09:59 PM) im a ps3 and xbox360 user.. Im not in the fanboy section of either system.. The only thing that makes me buy a copy of a game for a certain console is ONLY if it has exclusive content to that particular system. One thing i love about my xbox though is the ability to play my music during ANY game. That could be a total dealbreaker for me on some titles where id like to listen to something other than the original soundtrack. When it comes to gaming though i never noticed a difference honestly. Even online while i pay for xbox live and use the playstation network i dont notice a difference at all as long as the host isnt hosting from all the way in the middle east or something. I love that the ps3 has bluray integrated which is great because they hold so much more data and while its a TINY nuisance, the fact that xbox still uses dvds can be a pain for much larger games like mass effect which require more than one disc, but at the same time its not a huge deal that i would throw my arms up about. P.S. If the 360 gained support for the use of iphones as a usb-readable media player where i could just select the songs off of my iphone through the dashboard menu, that would be absolutely HUGE for me It doesn't? I know I can do it using my iPod.
  3. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 02:01 PM) So XBOX just kicked PS3 in the nuts They revealed a new 360.. its smaller, has wi fi, and is 250 GB The best part? Its the same price as the older version.. AND, it is available later this week.. im pumped.. I'm a proud 360 owner & I can't see how they kicked PS3 in the nuts here either. If anything, this is the stuff that they should of had from the jump.
  4. QUOTE (Mr. Showtime @ Jun 12, 2010 -> 12:24 PM) They are in bed with Mattel now, that is apart of the reason they don't want blood anymore and naughty language. Rumor has it that Mattel complained about this and he was the scapegoat. As to why he was fired and not suspended for awhile, I don't know. This and they love how much how they're viewed by "mainstream hollywood" these days. TNA doesn't do it for me, the WWE is really starting to wear on me with this PG crap...I may just go back to watching ROH mainly with a bit of WWE sprinkled in. They just killed my interest in an angle that I had a ton of interest in.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) WWE posting on their dite that Daniel Bryan has been released. Everyone thinks it is a work. It's setting up the debut of Bryan Danielson I believe. IIRC, there was a recent WWE.com article that referred to him by this name.

You know what's awesome. Free open bars. That's what's awesome.
  7. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 01:24 AM) Leaving in about two hours for vacation in Hatteras, N.C. (I'm driving the third shift is why I'm awake.) Stopping in D.C. on the way back to catch Sox-Nationals. See you all in about ten days! *waves at computer screen* Bye Kevin!
  8. Thanks to Patrick Sharp...I got to touch the Stanley Cup tonight. Little to his knowledge he also got me all kinds of attention from the ladies. Not a hockey fan, but I'll take it.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 01:27 AM) How could anybody in Chicago go to this game when the Hawks were playing? Was it really 21,000? Maybe the fans brought radios or mini TVs or something. I can't see missing history over this piss poor White Sox team. There are still a group of people who could give two s***s about hockey out there...
  10. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 8, 2010 -> 07:14 PM) Picked it up today, I'll be giving it a good listen through in a little while. Very good album. IMO it's leaps & bounds better than "Blue Collar". The Eminem album is also very good as well. The production isn't a whole lot to write home about, but it's shades of the old Em which is very good to hear. I'd give it a solid 8.5/10
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 8, 2010 -> 12:37 PM) Anyone check out El Che? Picked it up today, I'll be giving it a good listen through in a little while.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 06:22 PM) Women do, they talk about sex in graphic detail the way guys talk about sports (you posting here notwithstanding). Guys do talk about it to each other but not generally in as much detail. A conversation might go like this: Guy A: Hey dawg... did you hit that? Guy B: Yup. Guy A: Was it good? Guy B: Yup. Might get a little deeper than that but not usually. A good amount of my friends get into more detail than this, sometimes too much detail...

    Tattoos

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 09:26 PM) Seems like everyone here has had an idea of what they wanted b4 going to the tattoo parlor, has anyone ever gone looked through the books and picked a random tattoo? To me, if I'm gonna get something that's with me for life...it's gonna be something that I've worked on myself. Not just going into a shop & picking a tiger hanging off of a palm tree. Also like Sqwert, the shop I went to (speakeasy) does only custom work.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2010 -> 09:44 AM) You think the Lebron James "I am the King" tour will only take July? I don't see him taking that long to make his decision. It won't be right on July 8th, but I'll say by the 15th.
  15. QUOTE (SnB @ Jun 5, 2010 -> 01:40 PM) best place to find an authentic jersey? the internet if full of fakes. I'd imagine the Blackhawks store on Michigan ave. would be a pretty good place to start.
