QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 11:40 PM) That was my whole point. He should be a guy we all like, but the media constantly putting him up on a pedestal makes people not like him. Which is completely unfair to him. But I don't care. I'm still sick of hear it all. Not that it takes much, but it just makes me want Florida to lose every week even more! Oh I'd take GREAT pleasure in seeing Florida lose every game this year, we know that won't happen but still. I'll be content if my boys can pull 8 wins out somehow this year, the ole ball coach has his QB, lets see if he lets him run this show.

Theres nothing about Tim Tebow that 'blows'. The kid is a grade A athlete AND person. I don't understand how people can badmouth him. And I am more tired of hearing about Tebow as a South Carolina and SEC fan, than most out of the SEC area. We hear about him ALL.THE.TIME in the south. If you want to show frustration at someone, blame the press. Tebow just goes out and does what is asked of him, and with pretty damn good ability.

Nice game, chaps. Well done with the bats after the 3rd inning. I sure thought 1 hit in 6 innings would get it done for us as well!!

All is ok, our 3-4-5 is due up!

They should find a way to put Garcia back in for us so Butler can get his 4th double off of him tonight.

Slowly slipping away... 6 walks 8 hits, 10 LOB and 1 for 7 with RISP. Against the 46-72 Royals. At home.

Is Randy Williams incapable of pitching more than 1 inning?
-
8/18 - Sox vs. Kansas City 7:11pm CDT - CSN
Awesome clutchness there by us. 9 LOB and 1 for 7 with RISP. Just another day in Southside paradise.

5 walks and 8 hits in 4.2 innings, and 4 runs.

Rios is a menace on the bases.

Well at least Garcia fits right in with our pitching mantra of "Give runs back if your offense scores"

Hell, if we're gonna keep running out guys from our past, lets see if we can go sign Mike Sirotka, Alex Fernandez and Wilson Alvarez. Let them all pitch 3 innings each in that 5th starter role.

Branyon hitting 2nd for Seattle makes no little sense.

41 doubles for Butler now on the year.

Freddie laboring out there with the pitch count... this feels eerily familiar.

Worried too much about the damn runner, and bam.

QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) What do you mean "start"? True, that was an understood 'start tonight' as we've been doing it for years.

8/18 - Sox vs. Kansas City 7:11pm CDT - CSN
5 LOB in 2 innings, lets not start that habit.
-
8/17 Sox vs Kansas City 7:11pm CDT - CSN

A game with Buehrle on the mound against Bannister vs. KC is NOT one of the games we need to lose. Against Greinke maybe, but c'mon MB...
