  1. To me, Wright is nasty in the pen...don't let the hitters see him more than once, and he could be lethal. Cotts gets the walks down, we are in a good position. Este, Buehrle, Garland and Cotts...with 1 spot open IF, and I say IF, Colon can stay motivated and not sign with the Spankees
  2. Man...thats it..I gotta say it...shelf Koch for the year, let him hang with the team in the clubhouse....something isnt right
  3. Yeah...thats what gets to me more than something like Danny Wright going out there and struggling....Danny is putting the effort out there, and uses what he has in his arsenal. Half the time, Colon wants to try and make hitters chase bad off-speed pitches...Just throw the damn ball...I was happy to see him do so tonight. Jason-Hmm, what do you think? I love that name..
  4. No, no...Este is the picture of consistency this year, and deserves the money next year. Colon, OTOH....no comment Jason--Check your PMs
  5. Just wondering, what is your reasoning for him being overrated? Kip is having a very fine season this year. A very fine season, with a very bad team....I had my issues with Kipper while he was here, but I'd take him back anyday.
  6. Thats just it..."if he ever wanted to" Bart seems to only pitch well when things are going well, a la David Wells in 2002. Players with that attitude are free to walk away without me getting mad at all. Give me a team of battlers like Buehrle, and I'm happy. Este is in the same group, the guy just goes after people.
  7. seriously, people are seemingly more b****y after we win a HUGE game like tonight??? WTF?? I am not b****ing about my normal players that i do, maybe others can follow the lead.
  8. it has nothing to due with wishing 'bad' things for any Sox player...its a fact. Colon pitches well when he wants to. I dislike him as much as hsc, but I was rooting for him tonight. No one said that the season was over also. Us fans have our player allegiances, and it'll take a helluva lot to change them
  9. NIce....go get 'em Bullard and crew...let JReed get an AA championship under his belt
  10. People realizing around the country that this Sox team may not be a team you wanna face in the 1st round, especially if we get our road wins in here.
  11. We can control our own destiny by beating KC, so I'm not as worried about them...Minny, OTOH, I want them to lose every night.
  12. Robbie warming up from the right side of the plate, hitting the ball to all fields...this team is blazin right now
  13. aaackkk...nooo.....cant....admit............Fatolo...pitching.......well........aaackkkkk
  14. Excellent f***ing hitting, Tony G!!! 5-2 good guys, and the bats are on fire.
  15. Damn....Seargant Joe Crede JUST missed #16....attaboy Joe..my man 2nd and 3rd, 1 out for Nolivo
  16. PK getting hot again...lets ride him out for all he's worth.
  17. Excellent f***ing Hustle there by CLee....more and more, I'm liking the guy
  18. Thanks Frank...keep us hanging around till Colon is outta there
  19. Ha! Thats our Tub O Goo.....f***ing waste of a 96+ MPH fastball
  20. Sad, but true...thats about the correct description of the matchup tonight.
  21. Unfortunately, I fully expect our "Tub O Goo" to return tonight, letting the Yanks pick up game 2 unless the offense explodes again. And we all know how the O usually is after scoring double digit runs the night before. Then again, maybe he'll feel like he "needs to step up" since the team is performing, in his own words. What a big game pitcher he is this year.
  22. Nice....if I'm not mistaken though, didn't Honel get sent back down? Or am i just the resident ass who doesnt know his minors.
  23. Hell, I don't care who is in charge. Whoever it is, they've sold me on their ability to try and make a winner on the Southside. I'll take that go for it attitude every year. Its been sorely lacking for quite some time.
  24. Dont know too many multi-millionaires playing ball in Class A Tampa though!!! That surely doesnt happen too often.
  25. Well, I am happy that everyday my man Seargant Joe Crede is really turning it on here...right at .260, 15 HRs, what...60 RBI? I'll take those power and RBI numbers anytime, and I know that Crede can hit for better avg...give him time.
