Oh I'm definately not one that is saying "Make Hermanson our closer!" at all. Shinjo is still my closer on this team. But I think he should be given a bit shorter leash at the moment, till its evident that he is using the pitches at his command to get guys out. A la quit throwing that GD 85 mph fastball, it isnt gonna fool anyone without them seeing teh frisbee mixed in there. Shinjo is still my man.

Pods arms is average at the best. He doesnt have the arm to play Centerfield. Hell if we gotta pick someone to ride the bench as of right now, my man is Jermaine Dye. He has shown me very little, and has had many 0-fer days already. Everett is not great in the outfield at all, but a guy who has a hot bat but average defense overrules decent defense but s***ty bat right now in our offense.

problem is by the time the offense comes around, the pitching will go into a funk...its the ups and downs of baseball....but we'll keep on keepin on, and as long as we win series, thats all that matters.

Timo is crap. $1 mill for someone in a roster spot that we coulda just used someone from the system. bad spending there IMO, but hey, I'll be glad to eat those words and see Timo have many clutch hits for us this year. Alas, get me Pods back in the lineup already!

No idea why Timo is batting leadoff...ugh...not that we have tons of options at leadoff without Pods. Hurry back Pods, I can't take watching Timo Perez!
