As of right now, outside of Everett...there is no one on the Sox that i WANT up at the plate with RISP...and thats saying something.

Yep, showed me that Crede his .261 2 years ago, and .239 last year when his swing was f***ed. Also showed me that Crede plays a very solid third base defensively, better option than we've had since Ventura there. Is he the 2nd coming of Brooks Robinson? No, not even close. but he is a more than serviceable MLB 3rd baseman, who seems to have trouble not falling back into his long swing habits sometimes.

As opposed to Dye and Uribe who are setting the baseball world on fire offensively right?

Precisely DBAH0...he is our 6th option, and we used Viz/Marte/Hermanson last night, Cotts last outing was April 7th before tonight. He was due some work, he didn't get the job done...guess what? it happens!

I still defend the decision to not pursue him in teh offseason, and thank our lucky stars that Maggs didn't take the deal on teh table after the injury. Lord knows we couldn't afford to have someone making that kind of money coming up with new "ailments" every day.

Judging by past pitching matchups, which I agree is never a good idea, then tonights game should be another 4-3, 3-2 type of game... with that being said, it will probably be an offensive explosion for both teams
