I like to see CLee digging around the bases, too. I'm happy to say I want him here for quite some time.

Hands down, this was THE PERFECT game to let Koch come back in...he coulda pitched the 9th inning in a big game, maybe give up a couple hits, but he at least gets the 3 outs. It gives Marte and Gordon both a badly needed night off, keeps Wunsch ready just in case something really bad happened, we'da still had a lefty specialist. Paniagua shouldnt even be here...we can't get the guys we already had enough innings, i.e Wunsch, Adkins and Koch. No reason to see what he has left in his tank in THIS game. When we play our toughest competition, we need proven guys, and Jose "Out of MLB for 3 years" Paniagua ain't gonna cut it.

Considering the fact that Schoen and SUlly are getting lots of work, and Marte and Gordon are WAY overworked...that leaves you Adkins, Wunsch, Koch and Paniagua. I go with Koch there, the guy has been getting hit around, but I still think he gets 3 outs without anyone else having to come in. Paniagua hasn't had any succes in MLB in quite some time, he got cut twice in ST. What makes anyone think that he is suddenly gonna be effective?

If you were gonna bring in a mop-up pitcher in at that time...it was EXTREMELY foolish to make it Paniagua...a guy that has had zero success since 1999. That part I don't understand

f*** that...just because you say case closed don't mean anything to me guy. Either Koch or Paniagua needs to be in for the 9th. Sully, Schoen, Marte, Gordon...all have been worn out by Manuel...and this is the perfect time to let them rest with a 6 run lead.

Even in pennant races, your star relievers need days off...especially when JM is managing your bullpen.
