The only thing that saves De Aza from stupidity is if the contact play was on. Considering his past, it is hard to assume that, but then again maybe they just want to take as muchinstinct and thinking out of the equation as possible when he is on base. Flowers was just dumb. Maybe it a product of his barely being on base most of his career.

First off, De Aza has to let the ball get past the pitcher. And Flowers has to run to third, not stop 10 feet from it and run back.

De Aza and Flowers acting like tonight was their first time running the bases.

Has anyone ever noticed at the beginning of the season, Beckham is pretty buff. By August he gets pretty thin.
