  1. Today will be the final act trying to stay on Trump's good side. I have no idea why. His endorsement doesn't mean much now, and in 4 years it will mean nothing. These morons willing to wreck democracy for him don't pay any attention. Does Ted Cruz really think Trump will endorse him for POTUS in 4 years? Look at the spot he has put Mike Pence in. A guy way too loyal, but who is about to get shit on for not doing what he has no power to do. In the end, that's what happens to everyone.
  2. The county where Trump held his rally had the lowest turnout in the state.
  3. Trump entered the WH with a Republican House and Senate. Now it looks like he lost it all. Maybe he was right. Maybe they got sick of winning.
  4. Trump thinks Pence is like the Supreme Court tomorrow when the reality is he is like a celebrity opening the envelop at the Oscars.
  5. The vaccine rollout has been slow, the new variants may make things far worse before they get better. I thinkspring training gets delayed until April and the season starts in May with around 140 games.
  6. I kind of feel sorry for Katz. It is going to be very hard to live up to the hype.
  7. There was someone on here 4 or 5 years ago who told me when I commented after watching TA during his rookie year that he may have 20 HR power some day, the ball really seemed to carry off his bat, that his exit velo told a different story. I don't think Madrigal will ever have 25 Homer pop, but it will be more than the one or two the haters seem to think he will top out at.
  8. Democracy was so important in Iraq, troops were sent, some to die. But apparently it is now not so important here.
  9. If Ted Cruz wants to be President, shouldn't he be kissing up to Kamala Harris, since apparently she is the one who should decide who wins the election in 4 years, and not some guy who may be in an institution?
  10. Didn't a lot of these same Senators and Congressman say during the Impeachment Hearings, that the people should decide who is POTUS. It's not up to them to remove him, voters can do that? Now that voters have done exactly that, the goalposts have been moved. The other thing I don't understand is how every vote that is supposedly bad went to Biden. How do they know that, and how do the people who won on the same supposed illegit ballots say their election is legit, but the presidential is fraudulent?
  11. Yes, and these are contracts were the players are going to die with at least some of the money in the bank, so what is more important is the pub of the contract signed, years and dollars, not what the total payout actually will be.
  12. I said it earlier, if you are a fairly mediocre/average player, take the first fairly decent offer you get. They aren't going to go higher in February.
  13. Rookie .340 hitter at that. People don't like clever hitters. The sad thing is, if the Sox trade him, he's only going to get stronger and better.
  14. Just repeating what she put out on social media.
  15. The weird thing is he just bought it a little more than a year ago. I wonder if he even moved in. The listing uses the same photos used when Bill Rancic sold it to KW and his wife. He took a $200k bath, but I think JR gave him the loan, at least he has in the past, so he probably pays close to zero interest. His wife, BTW, has been taking an extended break, for over a month, to focus on her health, and care for a loved one who needs surgery.
  16. Right. But if that is the case, don't you have your visits first?
  17. There might be something there that could out his source to Sox officials is the only thing I can think of.
  18. So they are telling us this isn't about money but everything is being left up to the agent to come up with finalists. OK.
  19. As great as Crochet looked, he still has 5 career innings and an elbow andshoulder whose even short term health is questionable.
  20. Someone in NY just tested positive for Covid with the new variant.
  21. He's played for Toronto and his offseason home is in Florida, so there's a decent chance it's around Dunedin.
  22. It might work on some other team. If the White Sox haven't bid enough for him by now, chances are, they aren't getting him.
  23. It might be a plant to drive up a price. But not the White Sox price. I think agents know they aren't going to maneuver their way to an extra $10 million from them.
  24. During the winter of 2013-2014, Hendriks was one of those guys that went for a ride with waiver claims. He was claimed 3 times, including once by the Cubs. Nice job by him to go from filler who is being passed around, to getting paid.
