I don't know. Normally, yes. But being on record looking the other way on inciting to insurrection is not exactly resume material. I think this one has a shot. These people have to make a decision. Is a movement where they are marching to the Capital chanting hang Mike Pence a movement you want to empower or kill? The answer is easy. Obviously, it isn't going to be unanimous , but except for the die hards, this is a possibility.

If hang Mike Pence was their rallying cry, the Republicans might want to think destroying this movement might be a better idea than placating it.

Trump was always about projection. RINO was one of his bigger ones. There is no one more RINO than him, at least was. Some have switched. But ironically the ones called RINOs are actually real republicans.

Pelosi is playing this perfectly. Pence has to be under a lot of pressure to invoke the 25th because if it goes to impeachment, Republicans are screwed. They vote against it, they are on record that inciting insurrection is OK. They vote to impeach they piss off the Trumpers. At least they won't have to worry about a mean tweet.

Ted Cruz wants everyone to move on for healing and unity, yet even after the attack he voted against the PA electors. He is among the biggest assholes in the world. Unity and healing would be to bring all perps to justice from Trump to Rudy to Jr. to Cruz and the rest. If Ted is all about healing, his resignation would be a nice start.

Right now JR has sent a couple of expensive bottles of champagne to KW and RH for ridding him of this.

The next question is who funded this rally? All the video equipment, the flags, the banners, the buses.

When that woman was shot, I just saw a congressman on TV say he and around 70 of his colleagues were just steps away from the other side of the door trying to get out of the only free exit. the rioters were breaking down, and may of them had zip ties and weapons. There would have been more death and probably hostages.

Stock market is weird. I only look at my 401k quarterly. After the first quarter, I was down 24% on the year. I finished 2020 up 15.5% which outdid the lifetime performance of the account.

That and the ability to make the truth be whatever you want it to be, has to be it. It's not like suddenly, because of Trump, they are filthy rich and able to do what they want. Maybe the best friend I have ever had, I have been hanging out with him since I was 8 years old, is caught up in this. Not to the extreme of breaking into the Capital, but he is a stop the steal guy....He isn't racist, owns his own business and does well. Has a nice family, is an honest and decent human being. He has always been a republican, but ever since Trump was elected, it's almost as though he has lost his mind. I don't see him nearly as much as I used to, and I do miss that, but until he gets deprogrammed out of this cult, it is just too hard to be around him.
