  1. Why would, according to Portillo's, it matter that Boras is his agent? Arb takes the agent out of the equation.
  2. I think the post proves he has some sort of source because if he thinks the Sox would sign Springer, trade for Darvish and take Heyward's contract just to waive him, he is pretty clueless on his own.
  3. I think some team will trade for him. You won’t have to give up much and it’s worth the gamble. He will be 29 and has been pretty great except for 2020. And if he is traded, unless the White Sox give up way more than any other team is offering, why would the Cubs trade him to them? How bad would they look if a salary dump help lead the White Sox to something great? A lot more bad than if they traded him to almost anyone else except maybe Milwaukee or St Louis.
  4. Give Ozuna, who teams feel is a DH, $100 million. Trade Vaughn. This is lunacy. Why do posters want the Sox window to be open as short as possible. We put up with losing to get guys like Vaughn, not to trade him away so the Sox can have their payroll locked and are one injury away fro 3rd or 4th place.
  5. This reaction was going to happen if you read Andrew Coumo's quote the other day. He actually gave Trump ammo saying the media was unfairly hostile to Trump and they had to respect the office. But we have never had a president like this who disrespect the media and tells so many lies. At some point the media has to hold him to facts. Besides it wasn't like this "lightweight " was out of line. The lightweight is the guy that can't handle the facts.
  6. Did you read the thing SCOTUS shot down? You should probably read it, then read what you are preaching. It’s basically the same thing. You are arguing against what you are preaching. Are you Terry Bevington?
  7. Illinois was originally told it would receive 400k doses immediately. Now it’s 80k.
  8. You called your governor a dictator for trying to keep you, your family, and your friends healthy and alive. Sorry, you have not always taken this seriously. Not even close.
  9. Do they have any idea how long the vaccines keep you safe?
  10. Examine voter fraud if there is evidence, but there is no evidence.Look what they say when they go to court and their law licenses are on the line. Rudy specifically told the PA judge this is not a fraud case. They actually wanted to throw ballots out because one of the ballot counters had their name tag fall off. This was directed at suppressing the black vote. It was racist. This will now make every election moving forward a farce, all because of one mans ego, and bank account. If you think it is fine why don’t you donate to Trumps defense fund? Of course if you read the fine print, unless you donate more than $8000, none of the money will go towards his defending an election being stolen, it will go basically into his pocket. He is still conning you. He is still on the grift. He was using his usual projection accusing others of stealing as he was trying to steal. Also, why is it assumed that every fraudulent vote ever cast is for the democrat? Most of the time, in the small amount of cases of voter fraud there actually is, it is the exact opposite.
  11. When Trump lost to Ted Cruz in the Iowa caucuses, that was rigged too. Cruz cheated. Trump wanted a do over. It is amazing how many keep on falling for his same act.
  12. He is getting paid so his market is very limited. I don’t think the DH in the NL really matters too much. Not a lot of teams will spend that kind of money on 1 player this winter. I still think their offense is fine, and they would be better off spending the big bucks on pitching, and getting someone else to play RF. In the winter of 1996, the Sox signed Albert Belle. It was great for the offense, which was missing Robin Ventura for a while, but the team went down a tier on the pitching end and wound up with Jaime Navarro as its opening day starter. That and Terry Bevington managing made a team with perhaps the two biggest offensive forces in baseball a pretty boring team to watch.
  13. I wonder if anyone else saw the Covid story on 60 Minutes Sunday night. It was people who really didn’t get it bad enough to be hospitalized, but are still feeling the effects now. Personal Trainers, they had a marathon runner who can barely walk 2 blocks almost 8 months after she fought the virus. One patients balance is so off, she can barely stand. All tests come back normal. They really don’t exactly know what the issue is. They do know it isn’t mental as one of the doctors is going through it as well. They think it could be their immune systems either haven’t slowed down or were so turned up, they damaged cells in their organs. They also think there may be microscopic blood clots in their brains which apparently can’t be seen until they are autopsied, and other organs. It is scary. Makes me wonder if Moncada has this issue.
  14. Trump obviously didn't write that, but steadfast dedication and loyally to Trump, not our country is far more accurate.
  15. Didn’t the people you listen to tell you as soon as the election was over, you would never hear of Covid again?
  16. That is scary. I had the same experience. There are 2 people I casually know, one through work, and one is my cousin’s wife’s sisters’ husband who I would see every Christmas Eve, both died of Covid last Wednesday. Now, with one of our doorman being one of the first to succumb, I know 3 of the victims who didn’t make it. One was in his 60s. The others were in their 40s.
  17. He is a HOFer drunk person, He’s legit brother.
  18. Trumps legal team needs to be sanctioned for their frivolous suits. Their law licenses should be on the line.
  19. This offseason will be interesting. There are going to be guys available for a lot less than they normally would command in prospect collateral as long as you take their contract. Any team that is willing to add significantly to their payroll can improve a lot more this offseason than normal. Plus with Cleveland letting Santana walk, probably trading Lindor, you have to think they are getting to the point where holding on is going to be difficult, Personally, as much as a guy like Springer makes the Sox offense nuts, I prefer they spend their cash on pitching, Dunning should be stronger in 2021. Kopech will be back, but who really knows with him. Hopefully Cease takes a step forward. Hopefully Lopez takes a step forward. But they still need more. And if everyone else works out, you have pieces to trade.
  20. If you go to their BP minor league page they will tell you if they were top 100 in BA, MLB and BP. They both were pre 2020. In fact, they both were top 26 guys for BP coming into this past 60 game season.
  21. Arm bar is usually caused by hands being lower and its pretty much a myth as a horrible thing anyway. Look at Ken Griffey Jr. He had what many would call an arm bar. You keep that arm at the angle a lot of youth coaches who haven't a clue about hitting want it, and players would hit with so little power there would be a call to juice the ball. The one thing this does is hits. No need to show him Tom Emansky videos.
  22. Rudy Giuliani's son, who works at the WH, has Covid and the entire Trump legal team has been exposed.
  23. Burger I hope for the best but I wouldn't protect him. Is another team really going to pick him and let him rot on the bench another year?
  24. At least low energy Jeb stuck to his guns and his opinion of Trump. He and the woman Trump called too ugly to be President. Little Marco, who Trump called a failure as a senator, said Florida hated him, he missed more votes than anyone, and Lyin' Ted, now both kiss his ass.
  25. Yes, but you would scold your 4 year old if they acted like this. This behavior IMO shows the guy was unfit for office on day 1. But I guess Little Marco and Lyin' Ted disagree.
