When Trump lost to Ted Cruz in the Iowa caucuses, that was rigged too. Cruz cheated. Trump wanted a do over. It is amazing how many keep on falling for his same act.

He is getting paid so his market is very limited. I don’t think the DH in the NL really matters too much. Not a lot of teams will spend that kind of money on 1 player this winter. I still think their offense is fine, and they would be better off spending the big bucks on pitching, and getting someone else to play RF. In the winter of 1996, the Sox signed Albert Belle. It was great for the offense, which was missing Robin Ventura for a while, but the team went down a tier on the pitching end and wound up with Jaime Navarro as its opening day starter. That and Terry Bevington managing made a team with perhaps the two biggest offensive forces in baseball a pretty boring team to watch.

I wonder if anyone else saw the Covid story on 60 Minutes Sunday night. It was people who really didn’t get it bad enough to be hospitalized, but are still feeling the effects now. Personal Trainers, they had a marathon runner who can barely walk 2 blocks almost 8 months after she fought the virus. One patients balance is so off, she can barely stand. All tests come back normal. They really don’t exactly know what the issue is. They do know it isn’t mental as one of the doctors is going through it as well. They think it could be their immune systems either haven’t slowed down or were so turned up, they damaged cells in their organs. They also think there may be microscopic blood clots in their brains which apparently can’t be seen until they are autopsied, and other organs. It is scary. Makes me wonder if Moncada has this issue.

That is scary. I had the same experience. There are 2 people I casually know, one through work, and one is my cousin’s wife’s sisters’ husband who I would see every Christmas Eve, both died of Covid last Wednesday. Now, with one of our doorman being one of the first to succumb, I know 3 of the victims who didn’t make it. One was in his 60s. The others were in their 40s.

This offseason will be interesting. There are going to be guys available for a lot less than they normally would command in prospect collateral as long as you take their contract. Any team that is willing to add significantly to their payroll can improve a lot more this offseason than normal. Plus with Cleveland letting Santana walk, probably trading Lindor, you have to think they are getting to the point where holding on is going to be difficult, Personally, as much as a guy like Springer makes the Sox offense nuts, I prefer they spend their cash on pitching, Dunning should be stronger in 2021. Kopech will be back, but who really knows with him. Hopefully Cease takes a step forward. Hopefully Lopez takes a step forward. But they still need more. And if everyone else works out, you have pieces to trade.

If you go to their BP minor league page they will tell you if they were top 100 in BA, MLB and BP. They both were pre 2020. In fact, they both were top 26 guys for BP coming into this past 60 game season.

Arm bar is usually caused by hands being lower and its pretty much a myth as a horrible thing anyway. Look at Ken Griffey Jr. He had what many would call an arm bar. I was watching a guy from the Lincoln Project who used to be a canvasser in Michigan who is very worried about what Trump will be able to to with the electors in that state even though he lost by 157,000. One call got someone to try to rescind their certification. He is having republicans from their state legislature at the WH today, and this guy says be very worried. These are low level politicians who Trump will try to entice with higher positions, and he thinks there is a good chance they will fall for it.

You think everyone that votes for them knows that? They use fear. Fear the black man, fear Joe Biden the churches will close, the suburbs will be gone, the stock market will crash and a depression will hit. People will be violently protesting in the streets, kind of like how they are now, with the "law and order" guy. But it won't happen if he's POTUS. It's a freaking cult. These people are brainwashed, and chances are you are never going to be able to reason with them. This militia in MI, now was supposedly planning to take over their capital for a week and execute politicians. It's insanity.

I know and most know who Donald Trump is, but not his base. Lindsay Graham is a total liar. People thought he was a man of his word until recently. He and Biden used to be pals. In fact, there is a video of Lindsay describing Biden and he actually cries telling people what a great person he is. Now he has no problem going after his son, and his whole Supreme Court deal with the "roll the tape" is just a hypocritical asshole. Rudy Giuliani a republican. Used to be America's mayor. Know when he isn't laying on a bed tucking his shirt in, he is trying to destroy democtracy. Who knew what he was ? If they did, he never would have gotten this far.

Considering Donald Trump is the current President and Lindsay Graham just got re-elected, I find this about as wrong as can be.

The Senate is broken. Mitch McConnell has way too much power.

Where is North Dakota going to go? They have 1/52 of the population of CA, yet the same amount of senators who confirm Supreme Court judges. That isn't right.

This entire thing is to extend fundraising for the grift.

The best way is to get rid of the electoral college. The second best way is to give states like CA a few more senators because they have more population than states like North Dakota. The next best way is to get rid of gerrymandering.

Jordan is another disgusting human being. Ask abused Ohio State wrestlers. He hid they were being sexually abused. Glad you like that style. Lyin' Ted Cruz with the JFK murdering father and the ugly wife, now kisses the toes of the person that made those claims. He also called a colleague an ass for asking senators wear masks, and one actually gets the Covid the next day. Another guy to admire.
