For a guy who has such a problem with Kaepernick, Tony seems to trust cops even less.

I wonder what LaRussa did or said to Passan to make Passan so aggressively against him. He seems so docile. But LaRussa pisses him off.

If a bad player gets a DUI, we say get rid of him. If a good one does, we say everyone makes mistakes. Tony is pretty unpopular so he is going to fall into the first group. DUI is a serious offense. This is his second time. I cannot believe the White Sox didn’t get out in front of this. It would have been so easy. Now they look like an organization that goes out of its way to hide things from its fan base. It makes them look very sleazy. I feel bad for ticket reps getting calls and emails. They did nothing wrong. Brooks Boyer is a good guy, and look what he has to deal with. He is such a good guy he returns messages. What can he do? But they made their bed. It is scary even the DUI couldn’t deter JR from this hire.

This is just his latest grift. The small print on his donation request emails to fight the fraud say 60% is to retire debt. He throws a few of these out there, the suckers and losers who are sending him money get satisfied, and he gets billed paid, if not cash pocketed.

Exactly, they knew all about this. It isn't a surprise, and they hired him anyway. Getting rid of him now isn't being legit or sincere. We know all about this with the current president and his scandals. Give it a week or two and Tony the Drunk is old news.

He probably already is. Tony is going to be showing him his ring. He's legit driver boy.

This is all not that surprising. Anyone who was around for Tony's first stint knows what a jackass he can be. Another tough guy who doesn't think rules apply to him.

It's OK if he's sincere.

Tony is a HOFer baseball person. He is legit. Driving drunk is OK for guys like him. The Sox will get what they deserve. Maybe someone will step up and alert JR that this asshole needs to stay away.

Ted Cruz sticking up for Trump just shows how ball less he is. Not only did he say Cruz was Lyin' Ted, and his father was in on the JFK assassination and his wife was ugly, he also tweeted this 4 years ago. I have no problem with the Sox saying nothing during the press conference hiring him. It would have turned into a shit show. But, the fact that they waited for the story to leak, and it was going to leak, just amazes me.

He never will. In fact, the anger many had at the hire, just dug him in deeper. Remeber when the Sox won the division in 1983? His first comments weren't about winning they were about Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall being "wrong" and scum. When the Sox won the division in 2000, it wasn't about his exciting young team, his first comments were to the people that ripped the white flag trade, letting them know he was right and they were wrong. He isn't going to admit being wrong here, especially since he already had this information when he made the hire.

If the team knew it and hired him anyway, he isn't going to step aside now. They wouldn't have hired him in the first place. I was against hiring him, that was before I knew he was a multiple DUI guy. He needs rehab. If he's sincere, it will help him.

If the team knew about it, and thought it would never come out, that is just dumb. I could see if they didn't want him to get a million questions and didn't want RH to be asked a million questions, how they would have delayed letting this slip out. But they should have sent something out that they are aware of what has happened and it is being dealt with privately, and the team would have no further comment. But they waited for someone to break the story. That is amateur hour.

Also when he was arrested in February, the police officer said he was argumentative. So he's probably an angry drunk.

At least he is a man of his word. From his 2007 DUI arrest On the day of his guilty plea to the 2007 DUI, La Russa said in a statement: "I accept full responsibility for my conduct, and assure everyone that I have learned a very valuable lesson and that this will never occur again."

It's a bad look, especially because now it looks like LaRussa and the team tried to hide it. But DUI's do happen and rarely, unless you are a school bus driver, do you lose your job. How this was handled was either LaRussa withheld the info, which would be fireable for sure, or it was amateur hour at 35th and Shields. This is DUI #2 which may indicate a problem, and a trip to a facility.

Trump campaign sent 23 emails yesterday seeking donations, w/messages like "mysterious ballots" and "STOP COUNTING ILLEGAL BALLOTS." The fine print says 60% of donations go to "retirement of general election debt." Which suggests debt and no incentive to concede until it's retired.

Trump on twitter claiming Wisconsin is looking good for him, and Georgia will be a big win as well. This is getting sickening.

You did. It was 2 days after the election in 2016. Biden had Pence in to discuss the transfer. Now, it's nothing but BS. Mike Pence willing to ruin any reputation he has left on something that would ruin this country if for some political reason it went Trumps way.

Mike Pence knew his tweet was a lie yet he threw it out there anyway. For a guy who claims faith is a large part of his life, you think truth would have some importance.
