Lopez could go either way, but at the very least, a bullpen piece. Dunning, Steiver, an acquistion as a back end guy. I think the Rodon ship has sailed. They should be really good. But now that you have to send Gio Gonzalez out there every 5th day at this stage of his career, it's not happening this year. Enjoy the development and hope the pitching can stay healthy.

I don’t know why Rongey was considered condescending but Dave Wills and his referring to the same callers Rongey had a problem with as drillrods, was universally loved. I think Rongey got a little cranky when Ginger Zee dumped him.

I think Luis Robert , if he stays healthy, will be the greatest player the Sox ever had. He probably develops a better eye, but if he doesn't, he can destroy bad pitches, and doesn't miss many hittable ones. The Big Hurt is a better hitter, and probably always will be, but you take everything else, this guy is unreal.

You are right. The fans have nothing to do with this. There are no tickets sold. The reason they are playing it the TV contracts make their losses a lot smaller.
