It was worth the shot.

I don't know what is more insane. 7-11 still selling Big Gulps, or people still buying them. I would think there's as good of a shot of Covid 19 being on that Coke button as there is anywhere else.

Fauci has said if you had it, he's absolutely sure you will have immunity from getting it at least for a while Does that also stop you from spreading it? If you had it on your hands, does it die instantly, or if you touch something, as nice as it is you won't get sick, it might be a huge problem for others.

I don’t think they know for sure, but it still was around on hard surfaces of a cruise ship 17 days after everyone was evacuated. So probably a pretty long time.

Unless you just stay in your home the next month or so, never go out, never order delivery, if you live in an apartment where you don’t have your own washer , never clean your clothes, it is virtually Impossible not to expose yourself in some way,but it is the people who make no effort that piss me off. Sure, Greg shouldn’t be sitting in the park, at least at a bench. If you must, bring your own chair. But at least he is making an effort on the rest.

To me getting gas is a huge problem. You have to make sure you disinfect the entire apparatus you touch, probably have to wear gloves, and if you miss a spot, it’s on your door handle steering wheel and keys, and credit card. The the snowball starts really rolling downhill.

Do you put gas in your car?

The same thing will happen here. People will die because they have it with underlying conditions and not be tested. The underlying conditions will be the cause of death. Does anyone know how Trumps 2 friends who have recovered from the virus without even seeing a doctor got tested?

I sure hope POTUS finds himself in a packed church on his favorite holiday, Easter. I also hope he is able to shake hands and hug all of his admirers. He’s earned it.

Until 4 years ago, you would bet every dollar you ever made a POTUS would never write something like that. Why he is making this political is really questionable. If he wasn’t so worried about the stock market in January and February he might have been able to pack the churches on his favorite holiday even though I doubt he would pass a quiz about what Easter is all about. What could go wrong? Who knew the virus would come back with a vengeance? At least we still have governors who know better and won’t follow his lead. He has to know that, so I guess he just wants to be able to blame the mostly democratic governors for people still staying home.

It's the hospitality industry of which a certain someone is also linked. If that someone ran Amazon and Jeff Bezos ran the hotel and real estate company The Bezos Organization and dabbled in game shows, the cruise industrry would be left to die.

Since the administration was so slow to react, how are they going to catch up with the supplies they need if Trump decides the Dow is more important than lives? This is really insane. What is going to happen is the medical professionals aren't going to treat anyone with this eventually.

5 U of Tampa students test positive after returning from spring break. They should quarantine all the spring break fools in FL since their governor took his sweet ass time doing anything about it.

My doorman has it. He was at work Monday, in fact I spoke to him for a minute or so. Didn’t seem ill at all. But I guess on Tuesday he deteriorated. Obviously his job exposes him to everything, but one scary thing is he has always been a clean freak, way before the pandemic. He is always spraying, purelling , etc. Kind of scary as I don’t know what I should do. I doubt they would give me a test. I am now working from home, but my wife has asthma so I need to be really careful.

The line was it was a democratic hoax. And they claimed they had it contained. The cases were going to be at or near zero in a couple of days. BTW, Trump now claims he knew this was going to be a pandemic all along.

If they are going to bail out airlines, maybe they can make their bailout contingent on getting rid of all the ridiculous fees they charge once they get past this.

Right around Feb 1 , I got the worst cough I have ever had, and had a fever for a couple of days. I still have a little cough. I take a bus to work in the morning. You wouldn't believe the nasty looks I get if I have even the smallest cough now. My wife is convinced I had it, but I don't think so.

No, I think it was to call out the administration who has a news conference every day telling us how perfectly they are and have been attacking this. they are trying to get the Dow back in line. They got it to go up a few days ago with all the huge tax cut phoniness, then they rolled out this new website that is going to be a godsend, that turned out to be something that is still in early development by a company that doesn't have 1,700 employees, forget the 1,700 engineers the administration says it has working on, not meant to be what they claimed., They got to brag about how they set a stock market record on Friday, watch it go away this evening and tomorrow. We have been way too accepting of the lies as a nation. We have become too numb to them. This is a pandemic, spin and falsehoods don't work. Everyone knows a nurse or a doctor who says we are panicking, but isn't it better to err on the side of caution? Apparently people hate their grandparents and parents as many don't seem to care what this can do to them.

Not nearly as what Prizter was calling out the feds on last night which you seem to think he was out of line doing. Plus with as many people working from home as there is now, chances are you won’t have the huge rushes at certain time periods you do as normal primaries, plus it’s a primary, a ton of voters sit those out.

I already voted. There won’t be nearly as many people in any polling place on Tuesday as there were trying to get home at the international terminal at OHare yesterday. The federal government didn’t respond until after midnight.
