No wonder we have so many new insiders. They all get information they cannot share, and then if the team makes a move, that’s what they knew all along. So far, except for chili’s Herrera note, all the insiders on this board are 0 fer this winter.

Besides, everyone said Levine was full of crap when he mentioned the Sox offer. If SD suddenly enters the fray, doesn't it mean an 8 year $250 million offer really isn't on the table and Levine was probably correct? If they were willing to go there, why wouldn't they have been in since the beginning?

This being at the table has me confused. Did it take until after the 2018 season for the White Sox to learn all players will “invite them to the table” if they are willing to pay the rate it takes to sign them? He was only tomgue in cheek because KW used to always seem to make his moves on Wednesday , but people were setting up for something happening on Wednesday. So I could see where it could be a burden. But insider does seem to be a coveted title.

Saying something is going to happen isn’t exactly going out on a limb. I will tell you something will happen between now and spring training. I also will tell you I have no source.
