  1. Lawrie has been a walk machine the last couple of weeks.
  2. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 1, 2016 -> 03:09 PM) it's accurate. he sucks Sale was getting nothing in the zone at the top or bottom, and I would guess at least 10 pitches not close to the zone where called strikes on White Sox. It is amazing the Sox aren't getting killed today.
  3. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 1, 2016 -> 03:07 PM) I just love to b**** about stuff. Isnt that what gamethreads are for? Yes. Anyone who calls you out for your ridiculous comments is nothing but a troll.
  4. This umpire, if pitch trax is accurate, and even if it isn't, is having one of the worst games I can remember.
  5. I had no idea Frazier was such a solid all around player.
  6. A swing and a miss on a pitch off his knee. I don't think there should be any concern about Sale's "stuff"
  7. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 09:17 PM) God damn I hate Abreu. You're right. He is garbage.
  8. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 09:17 PM) God damn I hate Abreu. LMAO
  9. He is reviewing this to get his guy more pitches in the pen
  10. QUOTE (joegraz @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 07:35 PM) Manager of the year hard at work. He was tossed.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 07:16 PM) Didn't Blue Jays lose on similar play Don't know . But there is some stupidity if it doesn't matter if there was no chance at the guy at first. But I guess they should call it as it is written. It sort of reminds me of the initial catcher blocking the plate rule which after challenges revering outs by 25 feet for interference, was modified.
  12. The only thing I can think of is Lawrie looking like he wasn't even thinking about throwing to first made it a safe call. Didn't NY used to release an explanation of all the review decisions?
  13. Does the runner going down the line at 1B position matter? It doesn't look like Lawrie was going to throw it regardless.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 07:00 PM) You're better than this The Sox are winning this game and have won 2/3 of their games. Reading the game threads you would think they have maybe won 3 and/or a decent team should be close to undefeated.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 06:55 PM) So easy to pitch to. He just can't pull a fastball with authority anymore. Struggled the second half of last year with this as well. Washed up. Trade him for whatever they can get.
  16. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 06:55 PM) How do 6 players hit into 6 (maye 7, Navarro's slow roller) outs in one inning? Sox cant buy themselves a big hit sometimes. It's like Ryan Pace put this line up together.
  17. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 08:40 PM) Another day, another loss. What else is new. Yep. 16-8. Time to blow it up.
  18. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 12:24 PM) Lincecum whispers are mounting 2011 called and said great move. If the goal is to upgrade, he isn't the answer.
  19. The White Sox basically picked pre-injury Danks over Buehrle. The logic was pretty solid. The result wasn't.
  20. He looks like he lost about 10 lbs. from last year. I wonder if that has anything to do with the couple MPH he has lost on the fastball. Obviously when you are 16-7 and one guy is 0-4, there is a big problem with the spot. If he doesn't have control and falls behind, he gets hammered and that has happened each of his starts. From Robin's tone, it seems they are resigned to the fact they can't continue to trot him out there. Would he go to Charlotte? He certainly will make it through waivers. If he could get some control, he would be what he's been. Have some real nice games with the clunkers. But if he is always behind in the count, he's batting practice. It's too bad he has zero command. He's seems like the type of guy who could get by with cunning and guile.
