Real bad managing here by Guillen but what new. Dotel seems to do well in tight games does he not?
-
Konerko needs to sit for a day or two and if his hand is injured he needs a stay on the DL he serves no purpose at all right now.
-
Moreanu misplay keeps Konerko from looking really really bad give him a second, wait a minute here it comes
-
Konerko.................
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 02:28 PM) Keep Thome in...at this point, you'd rather have him in the lineup to face Nathan in case the Twins win. Also, you'd lose the ability to put Anderson in defensively. He only comes in defensively when it is blow-out. BA will not be in this game today unless there is an injury.
-
Let's Go Go Go Go White Sox we're with all the way, never in the mood for a dugout fight or however it goes Time for BA to pinch hit....... ah forget it Nice job Quintin. Ramirez will be in center to give Swisher the day off tomorrow. Book it.
-
Thorton and then Linebrink and if not I will be convinced that Ozzie Guillen does no managing what so ever.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:31 PM) A day off every few games doesn't hurt though. Especially that we have 26 games in 27 days. Juan oh Juan my man Juan
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:26 PM) Because Ozzie Guillen hates him. It's pretty simple. It is really getting pathetic that Swisher whose average is sad is playing every day as is Konerko while Anderson who looks to at least have a clue is playing once a week. Nice job killing the mo there Nick.
-
Dye with a bomb 2-1 f*** you danks
-
How does Brian Anderson never see the field with this f*** squad? I am a big fan of Anderson but come on there is no reason to at least try and get his stock up for a possible trade. Ah forget about it. The stupidity of this organization is getting laughable.
-
Score will be 4 -0 here in a heartbeat as the pitchers are trying ot be perfect becasue this horses*** line-up is worhtless. Quick wake up Ozeroo.
-
and this ballgame is ova
-
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:14 PM) I would have Quentin in the 3 hole. Dye in the 4th, AJ in the 5th Why Thome, Konekro and Dye are not the problem, ask Ozeroo.
-
This is the ballgame right here.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:10 PM) I hate the idea of Quentin in the 2nd spot. He should be batting 4th or 5th, because at least there's a slight chance Thome or Dye or AJP might get on. I really want AJP in the 2nd spot. Knock it off the three, four, and Fivea re set until October. 0-2 and then the walk. 4 walks in the series by Harris. Adam f***ing Everett is going to do something here.
-
Quintin with a sad little roller to third on the second pitch. Walker has gotten to him finally. Here comes the "meat" of the order. Thome making sure that shift is always working. Farmio and Stone really making sure we the listener know why Thome is sucking right now. Stone ripping on this team right now about the stupidity of the team and Konerko validates him nicely with a little looper to left to help Cuddyer get off the field first. Walker needs to be fired based on what Stone is saying.
-
QUOTE (G&T @ May 8, 2008 -> 12:58 PM) What is Walker's hitting philosophy? And don't just say "lift and pull." I mean, we all know what Coop's pitching philosophy is and what he preaches and it filters down the organization. He says it all the time. But has Walker ever said anything about his keys to hitting or what the approach should be? The idea that I thought was that he let's guys decide how they want to approach hitting and then works with them as the back of their baseball card tells you what you need to know. I am not certain he actually works on a philosophy. Ramirez nice play, good job Danks too bad your going to be f***ed any time now by the "offense".
-
They have to tlak about htis don't they? This ballgame is ova as Konerko is unable to field his position properly and Cuddyear will go opp field to scorethe run. Oh Konerko.
-
This is comically bad and this team is slipping as the days go on right into last season. I defended this until this season and recently have bought into the something has to give line. While Cleveland and Detroit are playing the tough teams the Sox are giving the Twins first place and waiting to really get pounded on the upcoming road trip. Toronto and Minnesota are not good hitting teams which I think is leading to an overestimation of the pitching to a degree while I think they are good, they are going to slip. Why does anyone now think this funk is going to pass. It has been here for almost a season and a half. I really want to stay optimistic because the pitching has looked great but they are looking like s*** and doing nothing about it.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ May 8, 2008 -> 10:33 AM) But if you count the Michigan delegates, the number to reach the nomination just went up from 2,025 to ????. Huh, well was it even possible to reach the delegate number? How was that numebr set? I know Edwards got some delegates but he get that many? -
Michigan Democratic Delegate Deal - unconfirmed

My feelings are that the Dems are trying to get Obama to the required amount of delegates prior to the convention. -
Ozeroo with the magical line-up again. Why is Brian Anderson never allowed to start. I think Swisher got a hit or two last night but come on he has done nothing and Konerko is an absolute embarrassment. It is almost as though Ozwaldo refuses to even want to make a move or that for some reason if Thome, Konerko or Dye are moved in the line-up the team will be unable to function.

QUOTE (G&T @ May 7, 2008 -> 08:49 PM) I think they have plenty of "energy." They don't have an ability to hit moving baseballs. Energy would require them to do something out of the ordinary which they have not done for two years now. Gomez will have the cycle in this game as he has become another Ichiro.
