  1. I am not speaking for anyone that is negative but the fact that this team was focusing not giving up at-bats this year and they appear to be not only giving away at-bats but giving away entire games (5 of them thus farthis year). Juan nice hustle there and a good slide and baseball IQ, this game is not ova just yet.
  2. Hall saves a run as Joe can't catch on the SB attempt. Sounds like the Sox got a break. Also I am 0% joking on the thought the Sox are coming back in this game.
  3. Twins inning here with run on two s***ty hits and awalk. This could be the ballgame here.
  4. KKKubel Sox pitching is really doing their job. Go 80 pitches with Masset and use the pen. They have the off day. Massett at 50 through 3.
  5. Is Cuddyer about to charge the mound from first? Farmer is making it sound like it.
  6. 8 pitch inning there OC with a 2-0 swingand feeble ending to inning
  7. Swisher quite the DP machine. Not sure him hitting with runners on base is a good thing. Although it could be the rest of this team's approach wearing off on him.
  8. It simply amazes me that nobody goes the other way on this team and when they do they are praised for it. F-8 Anderson is such better of any other OF on this team.
  9. K CQ not really good here that pitch should have been hit hard. Crede pops out on whole 1 pitch if you're swing first pitch you better hit it hard. This game is looking.......well I have nothing good to say.
  10. The defensive positioning in this series is confusing. Actually the infield positioning has been odd all season. K on Kubel. ok I guess Let's work this guy a little.
  11. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) both...nobody in baseball gets to that ball though...it was just hit in the right spot uribe gets it Hit by Cuddyer tie game. That is clutch hitting right there opposite field hitting imagine that wow no infield pop up
  12. Farmer says walk could be good......not sure Massett is good enough to be messing around. Go after this guy and if they score so be it suck it up.
  13. Dye with a nifty pop up to second. Was the balk legit on the radio they are making it sound like B.S. Should Cabrera have caught that?
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 11:52 AM) Even if you feel that way you should at least trade them for what there value is and right now you could trade Josh Fields and swap him with another teams top prospect (or at least there is a good chance of being able to do such). Broadway maybe doesn't have as much value. Now I'm not saying you could trade Fields for a top 10 prospect, but you could have him as a centerpiece in a deal that nets you a pretty damn good everyday player that is still young. If they could get a younger High OBP lead-off guy for middle infield that would be fine but I think they need to do something at the top of the order before losing becomes the norm ala last year. Swisher has stopped doing what he was doing earlier in the season and the offense has resorted to the post ASB 2006 team again. The rotation can not carry this team nor should that $7-15M a year hitters need to do their job.
  15. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 10:22 AM) Franchising changing trade, and for the worse. Ouch. Terrible deal. Only if you feel that Fields and Broadway will play up to their ceiling which I feel is their highest right now and neither will be anythign more than average players at best. What exactly about this offense leads you to believe that they are not a reincarnation of the last two years. I pointed out in the game thread that 20% of the games played this year the offense did absolutely nothing (in an embarrassing sense) in regard to offensive prodution and they had no chance to not only win the game but barely scored and none of the pitchers were above average.
