  1. Why when Danks is pitching good he gets pulled at 90 pitches but in a game where there is no chance of winning he has 90 pitches he gets to stay in the game. This is a rhetorical question.
  2. Wow Dye is sad right now.
  3. Damn there goes the no hitter and post game show.
  4. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 3, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) Hmm, was that more on Pablo? I think Cabrerar overthrew it a little and it was a high throw. He was 10 feet away. I put it more on Carbera. Scutaro is hitting .206 Nice job Danks. This team is worthless.
  5. f***ed up double play to end the inning. Where is the defense playing on that?????
  6. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 3, 2008 -> 11:44 AM) As nice as our starting pitching looks at times, it sure is painful to watch this sad excuse of an offense try to support them....2007 offense, here we come Chicago White Sox, we can out solo homer you! Danks will be at 100 pitches through 4. At least we'll get us some Adam Russell.
  7. Why doesn't he at least try and do something different at the plate against the shift when he is batting .216. Even if it doesn't work who cares. 11 pitch inning. Danks right back out there.
  8. Vernon Wells has seen the average innings worth of Blue Jays pitches in one ab...... Wells 9 pitch AB Listach average 9.33333 pitches per inning thorugh 3. Too bad Jon, nice outing.
  9. s***ty hitters and slumping players really like to face the White Sox. Maybe a real ass whiping would wake these dolts up.
  10. The sad thing is that I think this team is resembling last year's as the days pass. It looks like that enthusiasm is gone nobody really cares. The names may be more well known but he results are looking more and more the same. Ozzeroo has ceased to exist as a manager as well. And I was very optimistic before the season. Games completely over matched by pitchers this season has at least 7. Tiger Bullpen-Oakland Monday-Sonnenstine-Marcum-Bonser-Baltimore Game 1-Twins Wednesday afternoon there are others but I just find it sad. This season really could be over after the west coast road trip and another season could be filed away by Memorial Day.
  11. QUOTE (daa84 @ May 1, 2008 -> 10:21 AM) if dempster can keep it up for 2 starts he will have a shot at making the all star team, because the cubs begin a stretch from may 12 to may 28 of arguably the sorriest offensive schedule ever over a period of 16 games.....san diego for 4, pittsburgh for 3, houston for 3, pittsburgh for 3 more, and the dodgers for 3... even beyond that htey get the offensively struggling rockies for 4, then out to SD, and LA where hitters go to die....then they finally start playing the big boy league and the NL east They play Pittsburgh 9 times before June 1st.
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) Fields at 2B would make a sense. I would say Ozuna but he looks as lost as anyone. I go back to your post in the blog thread. Move Fields for a younger middle infielder with speed that can get on base.
  13. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 02:15 PM) Tony, don't get my hopes up!!! If I was KW, I would send Alexei down, let him play every day, even shuffle up the positions so he gets experience in the INF and OF. Then bring Fields up. Owens shouldn't touch any of our 4 OFers right now, and then you have a legitimate power PHer and maybe DH him against guys who are super tough on lefties Ramirez, Owens and Fields serve no purpose with this team as they all need regualr AB's. The Sox need a Mackowiak type.
  14. Owens does nothing for this team as he will not play befor Quintin, Swisher or Dye and should not play before Anderson. Find anyone in the world that can play second and get on base to lead-off.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:49 PM) This team just isn't very good. The OC experience has been a massive bust so far, Thome has been worthless after the 6th inning, and Dye know looks like he's never seen a pitch before in his life. With the Tigers having Granderson back, and the Indians getting strong performances from Cliff Lee, I don't see anyway this team can stay on top of the AL Central. They will wait for the magic of the softball line-up to take hold. If the pitching holds like this they have a shot. I think KW needs to make a move very soon and that move is for a speddy, left handed hitting second baseman at any cost or blow this whole thnig up. I am also thinking they really overpaid for Nick Swisher as he seems to be a-lot of action and production other than an occasional walk. This team is about as unclutch as possible. KW really should be looking to to whatever is necessary to get Brian Roberts or someone with that skill set. This weekend will be really long if hte approach does nto change.
  16. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) This team needs a day off, thank god they're getting one. They look horrible in almost every facet of the game, and whats worse is our pitching is keeping these games from looking far worse than they actually are. I've been negative on this team as of late, and their play the last week is why. This is as non-fundamental and sad as it gets. Botched bunts, unable to make contact when all you need to do is make contact, etc...it's just BAD. Get the day off and shake up this lineup. They were off Friday and last Monday?
  17. Once again the Latino players on this team are useless as one of them is unable to properly travel with the team and the others feel that taking a pitch is somehow disasterous. The bench is f***ing joke right now with Ramirez, Ozuna and Uribe as they are all useless at this point in time. Please bring up somebody with a baseball IQ who can also show some effort. Sorry but I am not seeing this offense magically reappear. There are way to many hitters that have shown that they are on the decline.
  18. unclutchness thy name is the White Sox
  19. Take a pitch assclown. Ozuna is a shell of the player he was. Ok here is Swisher's RISP attempt.
  20. Pablo Ozuna?????????????????????????????????
  21. 2-7 when scoring 3 runs or less 12-4 when score more than 3 runs This team is resorting to 2007 as the days pass.
  22. This offense is almost comical how sad it is.
  23. well at least Thome made him work for that strike out. Pat Neshak to make Dye look really, really sad as the Openign Day appraoch Dye used was lost with his four day vacation which will take him a week or six to get his timing back.
  24. Morenau comes through 4-3 twins......why give him a f***ing pitch to hit there????????? The baseball IQ of this tems is really sad.
