I think Shingo's ineffectiveness along with Neil Cotts does hurt our pen because it will force Ozzie into matchups and create alot of bullpen use each game. If shingo was effective you wouldn't have threads of burning bullpens. The only guy that didn't get up yesterday in the pen was Cotts. everyone else either pitched or threw in the pen. Shingo comes in Ozzie will need a back up to throw in the pen. So in effect you need at least two closers each time shingo pitches. One on the mound and at least one throwing in the pen. This cannot last the whole year, it will indeed burn the pen out.

I'd be happy if they quit selling alcohol all together. Someone please post some e-mail addresses for people in the Sox organization so that I can write them. Sorry about the rant. I know one guy in all of Rockford who I've finally shown that the Sox are a better team. I've conviced him that the negative Sox stuff is Cubune perpetuated crap and now this bulls*** happens. I have been saying this for years, eliminate half price night and you eliminate the rif raff. I have been countered by the vast number of students on this board who have no money. I say tough s*** and watch it on TV, get money from Daddy or wait until steff gives you her tickets. By the way I will not go on Mondays. I literally hate the scene.

This whole thread is why I am now upstairs in the Premium club section. Less abuse, no half price bulls***, minimal problems or issues.
