  1. Now consider if the Dylan Cease of last night is legit and we have Kopech and Crochet in the pen... Not that I'd want to, but who would you even trade one of those 4 position players for?
  2. TLR would be the Paul Westhead of baseball: relenteless offense, absolutely no defense.
  3. I got the same. Manscaped has gotten pretty ballsy (pardon the pun) with the ads it's been putting out everywhere.
  4. Leury showed last night he can be a devastating weapon for us as an everyday pla... utility sub / late inning replacement weapon.
  5. This is just a perfect game, I mean in a general sense.
  6. Sox starters with 20 strikeouts in the DH, despite the 7 inning format.
  7. Sounds like a Minnesota Twin during the Metrodome years.
  8. I gonna say it. If this version of Cease is the real deal, this rotation > 2005.
  9. If you had told me beforehand that through three it would be Cease with 40 pitches thrown and the opposition with 80...
  10. After his last start he said something like he knew what he had to do going forward. I guess he's doing it.
  11. MLB gameday making me sit thru a 15 second ad so I can watch a 7 second replay of AV's double...
  12. And TBH a fastball down the pipe on 0-2 is the last thing I would expect as a hitter.
  13. Mercedes has a lot of protection. The guy after him has a BA three hundred points less than his.
  14. Both Robert and Madrigal should be starting both games because Tuesday showed signs the the offense is on the verge of a corpseball stretch. Luis had shown discipline and a good eye before getting hurt and Madrigal makes the pitchers work and will leverage what he is given. Those two are going to be indispensable if we are faced with the rest of the hitters forcing it and pulling off everything.
  15. Good policy, will comply. In games like last night's the hot takes serve to at least make the thread more entertaining than the game itself but not when it gets personal.
  16. Abreu represents the tying run...and the final out.
  17. It's hardly an excuse for him or Katz, but I can't forget this is the first time TLR has managed without Dave Duncan as pitching coach. I wonder if there is something to that.
