  1. I'm glad Ken is out of these negotiations. His history with Boras isn't all that hot.
  2. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 11:18 PM) If you're talking about the Wii picture, it's not an ad. There is a networking ad that shows a flood of water, at least when I viewed the page.
  3. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 16, 2007 -> 06:14 AM) Greatest years of your life, my ass. God I hated HS, and people like that were exactly why. Along with a bunch of other stuff, I lettered in four sports, was Treasurer of the Varsity Club, and President of the Chess Club. I hung with everyone. It wasn't until later I discovered one clique had tossed me out and I didn't even know it. I'm very much a move over and allow someone else to join the group. FInally a device that fits what I think of an iPod
  4. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 08:35 PM) So today I started my final semester of high school and had my first day of Media Arts. I got seated across from an extremely preppy "cool" girl. After looking around and seeing who was in the class she said to her cool friend, "Ugh, there are only three people in this class"....inferring that anyone in the class who was not cool could not be recognized as a human being. There were roughly 25 other kids in the classroom, but they don't count for anything in her eyes. I just chuckled to myself and smiled when I heard her say that because it was so ridiculous that it was funny. What a b****.

Bob Dylan bores me to tears -- Simon Cowell idiot
  6. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 09:16 PM) Nice ad placement on the link. OMG
  7. In Nukes case, we have spent thousands of dollars to make him believe killing solves all problems and that you have to be a macho, broad banging, sob to be a soldier. The culture has been there forever. Perhaps it is necessary, but I doubt it.
  8. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 08:33 PM) Anybody know if a video of this exists? Yes. I saw a link but didn't follow it. Now I think it was only a story about it, not the actual execution.
  9. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 06:35 PM) "Thanks, but I'm gonna need more than $20. I've got standards" There you go again, making us all nervous,
  10. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 06:18 PM) It was Thumbs Up Woman's idea. And women shouldn't be allowed in either. Ahh, no it wasn't Lynndie England's idea. The technique of humiliation was from higher up, complete with fun games like this to play.

QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:16 PM) I hear plenty about how crazy people are about this game. Is this going to cause a stampede at the local Best Buy or something? They are doubling the territories and adding some more characters. No stampede, but I expect my local game stop to be busy at midnight tonight.
  12. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:57 PM) The morning show would be more likely to get the axe - not the Promotions Director, honestly. Good ones are hard to find for 20K a year. I figured they are suspended right now. I know I'm going straight to hell for this but I'd bet $$$$ that a KDND 107.9 water bottle would be a big ticket item in eBay right now.
  13. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:40 PM) Not necessarily... if she had an iron clad disclaimer, if it was the show's idea and she had a paper trail.... But I wonder if that station is hiring.... Maybe, but sorry, but we have a huge image problem here and someone has to take the fall. Here is two weeks severance pay, a nice letter of recomendation, and a KDND 107.9 water bottle. On second thought, we'll throw those water bottles away.
  14. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:41 PM) Equating the murder of defenseless civillians and the executions of criminals and terrorists is a really weak argument. Killing someone for killing someone places both parties on the same moral ground. Valuing all human life enough to not take it, places the civilized on a higher moral ground.
  15. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:11 PM) I've been a promotion director at a radio station before. I've orchestrated stupid contests like that before. I can't imagine what the promo guy/girl at that station is doing or feeling right now. Updating the resume, packing her bags, crying, praying,
  16. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:11 PM) Unusual? We've been executing the scum of the earth since the dawn of man. In the context of history the unusual thing is to have mercy on those who deserve none. We have been executing innocents since the dawn of time as well. I prefer to be on a higher moral plane than the likes of Hussein, who shared your passion for executions, torture, and homophobia.
  17. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:00 PM) just so long as I'm not forced to live with them, especially in close quarters for long periods of time as happens in combat. So how often does the guy have to be getting laid for you to be comfortable with him and not have it effect moral? "Hey, Chuck, we noticed that you haven't laid a broad in months. It's weirding us out and really bad for moral. So here's $20 go hire that hooker in town so we all can breath a little easier." Why does itr matter who he's having sex with?

7 hours until the expansion pack is out.
  19. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 05:06 PM) And Nuke won't have to worry about whether or not a queer is looking at him funny - since that's clearly his concern about the men and women he works with. Or worse, learning the cute guy in the next bunk isn't attracted to him.
  20. America being America, her heirs will own a radio station soon, and probably enough money to buy a few Wiis
  21. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 04:51 PM) So you value human life by warehouseing it in solitary confinement for a lifetime? Interesting. By your own logic isin't that cruel and unusual punishment? No, it isn't cruel and unusual. Society needs to protect themselves. And what is more unusual than killing someone? There is a difference in denying someone liberty and denying them life itself.
  22. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 04:49 PM) We do want grownups......just not homosexual ones. LMAO. Too bad y'all couldn't keep them uppity negroes out also. Shall we also have them stop paying taxes? I'm certain it must kill you to think they are contributing tax dollars to your salary. Nuke, being kept but a gay guy.
  23. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 04:46 PM) Nice dodge. I ask again. Using your logic was it wrong to hang all the Nazi's at Nuremburg then? Yes. A lifetime in prison would have showed that a civilized society values all human life.
  24. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 04:42 PM) Or maybe they will, Tex. Or maybe they will...::Twilight Zone music:: /watches as they scurry away camped out at my window when I look You know, I have wanted to meet Rex for a long time . . .
