    LMAO, Nice reference.
  4. They would not be any more over them then we would be.
  5. Who influences your voting? Not what, but who. Parents, children, uncles, celebrities, talk show hosts, friends, relatives?
  6. I like the stone pony. Players should just shut up and play. Now I am surprised that no one threw out the tired whatever did Stone do as a player?
  7. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win a couple playoff games. I don't see that pressure ever gets to him.
  8. The only thing better than being eliminated the last day of the season is being eliminated the second to last day of the season. Ohhhhhhh soooooo clooooooose Wait until next year
  9. The Cubs only win today, to make losing tomorrow that much more painful. This is better than last season.
  10. First off fans in Oakland are complaining about Mulder. Garland put together the kind of season that will keep him employed in the major leagues for a long time. If he finishes his career at 120-120, he'll have $30 mil in the bank. Just like the PGA is loaded with middle of the packers, MLB has them to and they make a lot of money.

Sounds like an opportunity to write a journal article. I remember back in the mid 90s when we had two floods of the century within a couple years of each other. It impacted the Fox chain the most Much of the problem was in the dams that held water back from the Mississippi.

This was more a test of how well either candidate could memorize a long list of facts and recite them later. I doubt when Bush has to make a decision everyone around him tells him to do his own research or hey I told you that six months ago, do I have to repeat myself all the time? Aboz correct. Bush is done, he should tell him supporters to stay home and not even be bothered to vote.

I'm the oldest and I guess with the death of my brother, an only child as well.
  14. I believe that report is fake. I couldn't find anything at the Fox news site.
  15. Colon pitches to the occassion. I think he's a better pitcher down the stretch, in big games then some Thursday night game in June. I always liked his attitude in tough situations.
  16. If he was on a winning team, we'd be talking about his greatness.
  17. Nuke, America isn't perfect, but the pursuit of perfect is what has made this country great. Notice that the countries, like Iraq, Russia, China, that cannot have a free and open discussion about what can be made better, don't do so well. The choice is yours. You seem to find it ok to criticize Clinton's budget cuts in defense and intelligence, his handling or lack there of with Osama, and that is somehow ok? So with all due respect, kiss my ass. I'll see your and raise you a
  18. We had faulty intelligence that the CIA warned was faulty. Tell me again what our self interest was in Somalia? East Timor? Sierra Leon? Haiti? Angola? Cyprus? Georgia? Western Sahara? All of these and more have seen US servicemen and women on "peacekeeping" missions. All of these and more basically involved sending US servicemen and women in harms way, to have them standing between two sides that dislike each other and if history repeats itself, will end up hating us. We've been inflicting our morality around the globe for decades. Either through financial or force. If we do not agree how a country should govern itself we send in the CIA to destabilize the regime. We've tried to assasinate foreign leaders. We cut off aid. We don't give them weapons. We don't allow them to have McDonalds and Coke. Should we attack all countries that are a threat? Whoopie let's attack North Korea, Pakistan, China, Russia, Syria. Let's be the paranoid superpower hell bent on world domination.

I'm waiting for another country to give us $1 to rebuild a school in Kentucky or provide a peace keeping force in Chicago so an elderly lady can take a walk in her neighborhood. How popular would this war and rebuilding be if we all received a bill for $1000 to help rebuild Iraq? All that oil money and they need our tax dollars to rebuild their infrastructure? What a beautiful deel we send in a $250,000 bomb to destroy and building, using a $15,000,000 airplane. Then we pay to rebuild the building.
  20. A lot of my objections to Iraq comes down to a simple equation How many US deaths is acceptable to safe one foreign life? Shall Nuke die to save 1 Iraqi? Shall Nuke die to save 10 Iraqis? Worse yet, should Nuke and 20 of his buddies die to save 1 Iraqi? And please feel free to substitute Somalia, Sudan, Grenada, Canada, England, etc. in that equation. Why is it our moral duty to die to save anyone else? Why is it our moral duty to inflict our brand of morals on the world?

They are a cute couple. Notice how George seems to be resting his head in Kerry's shoulder.
