The Cubs are finishing up against Atlanta. who knows what Atlanta will do to rest starters, they need to stay sharp without hurting anyone. They haven't made a decision but if Sunday's game is important, Clemens may be asked to pitch on short rest. Gee, do you think the Rocket would turn down the chance to pitch? In some ways it is surprising that Europian style football fan violence hasn't been seen here. We are a more violent society and you would think sporting events would reflect that. It's easy to to support keeping fans away from players, do we now have to find ways to keep platers away from fans?

The GOP is misleading the American public, but the party faithful do not seem to care. Lie all you want as long as it's against the other side. I think it is wonderful that conservatives made up their minds in 1950 and never change them. That way there is no need to ever think or listen to new information.
