Noticing there isn't much of a crowd on a nice Sunday afternoon. Is that their fault or ours?

Agreed. But it seems inevitable we'll be starting one utility guy unless we have a run of good health. We'll need another on the bench.

I wonder what Tony is doing differently for Mendick and Burger? Maybe he should try that on the rest of the team.

Remember when Mercedes made folks think we could get rid of people.

It's a Journey - We remember 2005
How about April 16, 2022? Less than two months ago. Wow. That was fun.

It's a Journey - We remember 2005
Obviously Moby Dick was the first one I thought of. But Tony as Creon from Antigone also fits. He takes out his whole family.

They have the act together. It's a tragedy with most of the stars being replaced by a stream of out of work bit actors and a director that hasn't worked since talkies.

It's a Journey - We remember 2005
Call me Ismael Tony. Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me, I thought I would return and manage the White Sox . . . . . . then all collapsed, and the great shroud of the sea rolled on as it rolled five thousand years ago. @caulfield12 Let's play Tony in literature.

It's a Journey - We remember 2005
Great times. I do remember. Remember those first couple of series this year? Our optimism was in place. Then our innocence was robbed by an old man and father time. The mask was ripped off to reveal the hideous face of the franchise. Moving forward there may be a couple highlights, a false sense of finally "putting it together", but, in the end, other teams will be playing in October. After the World Series there will be a melancholy retirement ceremony for Tony. By then fans will have run out of energy to cheer his departure. A shuffling of a couple coaches, perhaps a lawsuit will be settled. Some aging players will be signed. Big contracts will be traded. It's over.

Welcome to the psychedelic world of TLR where Chicago baseball fans will forever debate the worst baseball season in Chicago history. Will it be the 1969 Cub Collapse or the 2022 Sox No Show?

- And That's a White Sox Winner !!!!
Shh, there are a few here who will come after us for believing that.- Gas. High Gas (prices).
War is hell and NATO cheering from the stands is a disgrace. I'll live with higher gas prices, it's a tiny sacrifice.- Moncada + Grandal
I expect professionals to do their jobs and quit making excuses. If they need a "win one for the Gipper," speech they should go back to college. I don't think Liam gets his energy from Tony. Moncada should pull on his big boy pants and fucking play like his contract.- And That's a White Sox Winner !!!!
Yep it's Tony.- Gas. High Gas (prices).
I'd like to see the current Russian government wiped off the planet. That was sarcasm earlier.- Gas. High Gas (prices).
We really need to start buying Russian oil.- 6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
I'll go cheer the 'stros so we can keep pace with KC. - TLR 2022 Thread
