A man's wife asks him to go to the store to buy some cigarettes. So he walks down to the store only to find it closed. So he goes into a nearby bar to use the vending machine. At the bar he sees a beautiful woman and starts talking to her. They have a couple of beers and one thing leads to another and they end up in her apartment. After they've had their fun, he realizes its 3AM and says, "Oh no, its so late, my wife's going to kill me. Have you got any talcum powder?" She gives him some talcum powder, which he proceeds to rub on his hands and then he goes home. His wife is waiting for him in the doorway and she is pretty pissed. "Where the hell have you been?!" "Well, honey, it's like this. I went to the store like you asked, but they were closed. So I went to the bar to use the vending machine. I saw this great looking chick there and we had a few drinks and one thing led to another and I ended up in bed with her." "Oh yeah? Let me see your hands!" She sees his hands are covered with powder and... "You liar!!! You went bowling again!!!"

I just did a google search for bowling jokes and discovered there is absolutely nothing funny about bowling or the people who try and make bowling funny. Someone took the time . . . :headshake

Link First couple seen in bed during prime time TV? It is anatomically impossible for humans to lick their own elbow. The song "Strawberry Fields Forever" sung by the Beatles refers to an orphanage located in Liverpool. On Feb. 18, 1944 the Cinncinati Reds signed 15 year old Joe Nuxhall. For two years, during the 1970s, Mattel marketed a doll called "Growing Up Skipper". Her breasts grew when her arm was turned. And much much more
  8. 1997 was a very good year
  9. Is there a market for the Reader's Digest Condensed thread service?
  10. It's kind of like an extra shrimp on the barby . . .
  11. Zero is only going one of two places, the 25 man or back home. And we all know how much JR loves to pay guys to stay home. Koch is running out of lives. There is no such thing as a clean slate. There wasn't when he came off a 44 save season and there isn't when you come off a 14 save season. He has to *prove* last year wasn't what we should expect. No need to send him down. He has to get major league hitters out. If he can't, he has no positive value. He's sucking up air. No apparent holes to fill early in this season. Uribe, Harris, and A-Row are playing well enough that we probably do not need an upgrade. So a trade probably isn;t going to happen or need to happen. So which of our promising young arms is going to be traded / sent down? I believe you send the person you feel can have the biggest impact for this season down now and keep him ready and sharp. In my mind that would be Cotts.
  12. PETA has done some good work. But like many of these organizations, the fanatics and extremists eventually take over. There is a problem in this country of unwanted pets being abandoned. We have had unethical companies using animals in experiments where computer simulations would have worked. But sadly they have moved to an area that I just cannot follow.

  15. The burden of cost should be on her. She's leaving. AT least that is how the courts here usually decide.

    He's about 8 feet tall.
  17. I have faith he's going to make it big as an insurance agent or dj. Although there will probably be an opening for a catcher on the southside after this season. I see this as Alomar's final year.

A couple of thoughts in the Yankee strategy. Of course they are going to start the kid out of town and not at Yankee stadium. It gives them an excuse if they continue to struggle against the Sox and the league in general They know our history of generousity towards 1st time starters.
  19. As Jimmy Piersall said "These are fans of baseball, these are fans of far out."
  20. Typical, you run and hide behind your or And this from a man who has posted 15,000 times how right he is . . .
  21. I know it's hard to imagine but there are early season bandwagon jumpers at Wrigley. The core Cub fan is appalled at this. The "I'm just here to be scene" crowd thinks it's a cool story to tell their friends the next day over coffee at Starbucks, and the idiots are having a field day. Thankfully they aren't at the cell with this s***.
