I think you can. It isn't an all or nothing situation. An easy to understand example would be this; since the terrorists all entered through Canada, we should shut down the Candian border and toss a few bombs their way. That would be over doing the response and I think most Americans would protest. Using your logic, if Bush decided to nuke the world, since we can't seem to find those WMD or Bin Laden, we shouldn't complain because we wanted a response. I use those extreme examples (at least extreme in my book) to show it is a matter of degrees of what each person decides is correct. Some Americans believe sending soldiers to die in Iraq was too much. Others may believe bombing mosques is too much, still others may believe nuclear (no matter how it is pronounced) is too much, still others believe any response is ok. Each American wanted an appropriate response.

I guess this proves the media isn't liberal, despite what Rush says.

  6. It actually feels right to be calling him Kongagain
  7. One positive thing that OZ is doing is allowing the players to make their own bed. If Billy becomes an expensive set up or mop up guy, he will not be able to look at anyone else but himself. I think that sends a positive message to the other players. My hunch is we will see William Koch out there in the 9th inning again, very soon.
  8. But think of all the money we saved by not having to pay Foulke Remember, it's really about the money.
  9. Too bad Billy can't come in and pitch hit.
  10. Pena isn't showing any faith in his pitcher. How sad. I hope someone is there to hold him and offer a shoulder to cry on.

  13. It has to be better than this.
  14. Yeah. We are the best 8 inning team in baseball We can beat anybody in an eight inning game
  15. Gee, bummer Billy didn't pitch better. I'll bet he rebounds sharply next time. It's only a game. I hope this doesn't upset Mr. Koch too much. I hope he has a nice evening and his self esteem isn't hurt by this.
