Didn't MLB restrict when WGN and TNT can air games nationwide?

:headshake My local guy, in a span of 45 seconds last week, mispronounced Buerhle, called the team in the final 4 Georgia State, and placed the Brew Crew in the American League.

"Now which one was your momma again?" "Damn, wait a minute, you look just like Coco Crisp!"

Interestingly the announers yesterday felt that Garland was going to be the ace of our staff this year followed by Mark and Estaban. That would bode well for the Sox. In a must win game this season I would want Mark on the mound ready for a CG.

That is basically what I was thinking. This may be Oz ball. Make a mistake, laugh it off, and come back to play.

Steff, This is an interesting side of you, we haven't seen before. Remember, erotic is using a feather, kinky is using the entire chicken

I think Jose needs many more times at bat against lefties before he is comfortable. Now that I'm thinking about it, it is probably also carrying over to his ABs against righties as well. I'm not too worried about his defense. I suspect he will go many more weeks without an error. I would rather have Jose and Maggs then Garciaaparra and whomever we would ahve gotten for Jose.

Murcer, Kaat, and another guy. Today one of the annoucners mentioned he would be surprised if the Sox didn't win the Central. Best offense, just enough pitching.

Poor BD. I feel bad for him.

Actually the prefered method is to deep fry them and serve with a spicy curry paste. I understand that some nomadic tribes will make them into some dessert, but I could not find a recipe.

That sounds like an awesome show It's 5 O'clock somewhere I use to love the Buffet shows at Popular Creek.

Sorry CW, I have to gently disagree with this. There are only so many slots in the military, and if we limit debate to only those who are serving, we silence too many Americans. Like it or not, young people can jump in AARP style public policy debates, straights can weigh in on gay rights, whites for blacks, blacks for whites, etc. America, you have to love it. Now I asked my favorite Bush appologist and war hawk if he felt Iraq was worth his son dieing for and all of a sudden he realized maybe this wasn't such a good place to be. Yesterday a flag draped coffin was laid to rest here. War came barging into our lives when a 2003 graduate of a local High School, a honor student, well respected by his peers, was brought home from Iraq. He paid the ultimate price. I hear how we sacraficed his live to safe Iraqi lives from Saddam's torture. I pray we aren't just replacing American lives for the Iraqis.

Maggs will replace Frank as the "face" of the White Sox. The team needs one consistent All-Star caliber player to market and build around. Maggs is the kind of player that the team could promote. I can easily see JR thinking of Maggs as the franchise player and signing him to a long term deal.

:headshake This was the first time I saw him and I'm not that impressed. What I was hoping was a little confidence on the mound, but didn't see any. The Yankee announcers felt that Zero would have been cut during Spring raining if he didn't have a gauranteed contract.
-
THE Yankee announcers felt that if JM was still the manager, that Jon wouldn't have made it out of the 4th. I really liked the way he came back and pitched so well. The announcers mentioned a few times about his "California" cool. All in all, it was Cy Garner out there today. We all know that last year he could also be Judy Garnlans. Let's hope Judy stays home a lot more than last year.

I was very impressed watching today's game on the Yankee network. There analysis of the Sox was pretty damn good and when A-Rod was called out on strikes to end the inning, they came back and showed A. Why is was clearly a strike - and - B. Why it looks like a ball on tv, the dugout, and in the stands They also did their homework for *current* Sox info. I would say the announcing team was clearly the best I've listened to who were from the other team.

80's Kap? Sorry for the cold front.
-
Wild Wings was exactly where I was thinking of going. I'm not certain if they will have the game.
-
Will you be watching the game from home or heading to a bar for an afternoon late lunch?
-
I know I'm going to hell for that.

I found a great web site devoted to the great homes of Cub Fans. I hope y'all like it. Link

Think about life for the average Iraqi. Sadaam was the leader for almost their entire lives. They do not know any other way of life. They are much more likely to be a victim of violence today than before we came to liberate. Unemployment is up, life is very uncertain. I can understand why there is anger and resentment. And guess what? Some people do not want a US lifestyle. Amazing isn't it? But our attitude has been on more than one time in our history that we are going to give you US democracy if we have to kill everyone who is opposed to it. Still I think we should still vote Bush, he's funny
