- Why the heck were we so pessimistic?
Wouldn't you have 101 wins After last season's start, I am giddy and dancing. Something I didn't do until July last year.- Hello! Anybody here?
Oh, Yeah. The season started and we are winning!- Why the heck were we so pessimistic?
Exit: Colon, Gordon, Everett, Alomar, Graffy, Daubach Disappointing 2003: Kong, Koch, Mark (1st half) Question Marks: Ozzie, Lead off, closer, defense up the middle Additions: Zero!?, Uribe History. Gee, I have no idea why I was pessimistic.- Dumbest thing you've ever done?
Would this be alcohol induced to sober?- The Pre-season Question Marks
A couple key questions we had at the start of the season. CF - I like A-Row's Defense, miss Carl's bat. Overall this has been good. 2nd base - Despite the 2 errors the Harris - Uribe combo has been fine. Kong - Wow! Starting Pitching - Colon vs. Wright is a no brainer. Still too early to tell if the rest of the staff will pick up the pace. Bull Pen - No closer has emerged. Still a problem. Frank - Signs of age? Slow start? Adjustment to #4 spot? Hope he comes around. Ozzie - After a mistake opening day, seems solid. I like the running and attitude. No new questions except possibly Jose's errors. Overall, I'm really happy with what I have seen so far.- Liberal Radio
You speak the truth. Once American's remember we have a representative government, that these people are elected to represent us, and we need to bombard them with our opinions, we will continue to have this partisan b.s.- ESPN making excuses for the Flubs
The fans have the Cubs 8 and Sox 12. So we move up a little bit there.- From chisox.com

You are joking. An unbiased source?- 6 August 2001
I think you can. It isn't an all or nothing situation. An easy to understand example would be this; since the terrorists all entered through Canada, we should shut down the Candian border and toss a few bombs their way. That would be over doing the response and I think most Americans would protest. Using your logic, if Bush decided to nuke the world, since we can't seem to find those WMD or Bin Laden, we shouldn't complain because we wanted a response. I use those extreme examples (at least extreme in my book) to show it is a matter of degrees of what each person decides is correct. Some Americans believe sending soldiers to die in Iraq was too much. Others may believe bombing mosques is too much, still others may believe nuclear (no matter how it is pronounced) is too much, still others believe any response is ok. Each American wanted an appropriate response.- Liberal Radio
