Plus, this started so fast, it would have been nearly impossible at the time to put together a large enough force to put down the fighting. I will probably go to hell for asking this but . . . Is there a formula for when the US should be involved? Is one US death to save one foreign death worth it? One US death to save five? 25? I do not know. No really. I am certain the facts will show that Bush did all he could leading up to 9/11. I am surprised since he is campaigning, in part, on his ability to fight terrorism, that independent verification of his abilities would give a big boost to his campaign. Remember his TV add of the towers? He obviously wants to use his leadership during those times. This would be perfect to help his campaign. I know it is a big reason why I'm leaning towards Bush.

A High School set/match is to 10 games. Faster for after school competitions. But do not despair. Just use these: The final score is the only statistic that matters. They outplayed us in every phase (facet) of the game. They wanted it more than we did. We had our chances but we let them slip away. We came up a little short. We don't care about moral victories. They caught us on an off night. Turnovers killed us. They out-hustled us. They out-muscled us. They out-coached us. We got a wake-up call. We weren't mentally prepared. We came out flat. We beat ourselves. We only have to look in the mirror. They ate our lunch. They've had our number all season. They own us. This is a bitter pill to swallow. It's going to be a long plane ride home. How's this for blown saves and missed opportunities? No reason for a Sox starter to believe that any lead is safe, unless the starter closes out what he starts. If I was Rauch, I'd be thinking about a career as a relief pitcher, I have a feeling there will be some openings in the pen. Here's the difference between the Yankees and the Sox. George would be screaming for a relief pitcher to buy. And to the notion that if we make the playoffs that anything can happen in a series, it can't happen if you cannot close the deal.
