How about a concert moment? I walked up to Popular Creek around 1983 or so, the day of an Elton John concert expecting to get lawn tickets and bought 15 row center. Seems the band turned some tix back in I was never a "Burn Down the Mission" fan until I saw it performed live. The song blew me away. From a movie? Otis "He loves us" Day and Shout until I saw him live at SnugFest on Lake Beverly. And finally Kansas Wayward Son from the closing scenes in a damn movie I can't remember, and can't find via google
  16. I'm going to hell for laughing or did you mean igniter?
  17. I think what some people are trying to prove is Republicans cannot read a report. They needed Clinton to read it to them and tell them what to do. Just like some Democrates seem to think that Bush needs to tell them what is right and wrong and how to read. :headshake Politics 101 If it turns out good, get on the bandwagon and have your picture taken. If you are on the bandwagon, kick off the other party If it turns out bad, blame it on the other party And the rhetoric goes round and round, round and round, round and round.
  18. But hey, were trying to help them . . . Is life better today than a year ago for the average Iraqi? Let's toss aside the "we are here to help you" and adopt a "your country f***ed with us and we're taking over" stance. We are there, let's just steamroll and get the hell out. Put in a puppet government. We are trying to be cops, be liberators, be friends, be everything. We could replace the Troops with nuclear winter
  19. I've been waiting 18 months to say this I agree 100% with Nuke_Cleveland I think he was the best big game guy we had last year.
  20. Republicans would have known about it also, they get briefed on world events. They do not wait to be told things by the President. One of the problems I see is we are too quick to blame one party or the other. Thay all need to share the blame or the credit.

I caught John Rush in concert last night. Excellent show. Nice mix of covers, original material, and humor.johnrush.com
  22. Every action we take collectively is judged against political gain or loss by each party. It is a sad fact of our democracy.
