First Manuel now PA Can it get any better?

I remember listening to 1960/70s WCFL and WLS. Yes, they were awesome. I think the first station I listened to on FM was WMET, then WLUP. I had an Insane Coho Lips Membership card, still have WLUP Rocls album and Pet Fishsticks. I wore out at least two Loop black t-shirts. The Dahl, Brandmeier, Mathews era was hilarious. I can still here Gary saying Hi*bachi King Biscuit Flower Hour I'm forgetting the guy that had the syndicated parody show on late at night on Sundays.

Why isn't this in SL&P so I can pin it to the top and leave there as an example to all. Beastley, I didn't know you were Korean.

A friend of mine (female, 23) is going to be sad tomorrow. The love of (the last 6 months) of her life is accepting a one year trip compliments of the US Marines in Iraq and is leaving today. I am trying to think of a small gift to brighten her tomorrow. Nothing overly expensive or personal.

No, it's not the all time best. The late 1970s WLUP was. Wide variety? So if a station played Opera to Speed Metal they would be great? BTW, in an interesting bit of trivia, sometime around 1990 one of the rock stations started a slogan "Largest Music Library of any Chicago Station" or something like that. They were sued by WGN and won. Turns out WGN has/had a huge library. The station had to change it's slogan to "Largest On Air Library"

These are always difficult to judge. But crimes are prosecuted all the time with no impartial witnesses. Judges and juries have to judge who is more believable.

I was talking with an investor one time who basically looked over Forbe's Best 100 companies to work for, figured out why they were on the list to be certain they matched the ethics and morals he believed (not necessarily mine), and bought them. He said they outperformed the market every year. The theory is you take care of your employees and they take care of your customers. I never did any research to find out. I've also seen some smaller enviro-funds, no child labor, no overseas subs, etc.
