If he waits until the lose a series it would look like he panicked. Now he and JR can show how when the team plays well and the fans start to show some interest they do what's necessary etc. etc. I think KW either A. Lucked into THE best time for this trade ~or~ B. He's getting smarter and smarter I also think it was great to do it both on the same day. Holy f***ing s*** we got Alomar AND Everett! Great PR, great moves.

We got Jack. Their sourdough burger with bacon is great. I don't like their tacos as much as the ones from a local chain here. I have found the Mexican equivement to sliders. Tacos nortenos. very greasy corn tortillas with chopped steak (bistek), onions, and cilantro. Two maybe three bites, grease, beef, cheap 6 for $3. All that's missing is the pickle. We also have like a thousand chinese restaurants, one place for gyros (aka greek tacos), fair pizza at one place, Pizza Hut is the decent option, and every chain in the world has found this place. They open up Money magazine see how fast we are growing and boom we have a Fridays, Bennigans, Applebys, Olive Garden, etc.

Where in Texas? Dallas, my best friend is getting married on Sat. I am going to the Rangers and M's on the 4th. Also planning on getting over the Ft Worth Stockyards for some steak, and consuming massive amounts of Shiner! Dallas is a great city. At least the third best in Texas. Austin is awesome even if you're not a UT fan. Shiner is an excellent beer. I do miss Steven's Point every once in a while.

And I wouldn't delete it, keep it close. I still don't see us winning the last game we play.

Damn I wish you wouldn't mention donuts. I can get a great breakfast taco everywhere here but only one place for donuts and it's geographically undesirable. And forget about bagels.

Should Illiniguy have been booterd because he was just having a little fun? Is booterd something they do in the neighborhood around Wrigley? It sounds like some sort of gay sex thing. If that's the case than probably not. Every good bar tosses at least one drunk now and then it adds to the atmosphere. Then the drunk comes back after sobering up, we all laugh and life is good.

BTW what beer are they selling at the cell? damn it jason i was posting and you moved it before i could hit send.. now as i was sayin tex...you can purchase mgd or lite from any of the walking around beer guys.... and if you go out to lf concourse just before getting from under the over hang theres a stand there which sellls stuff like special export ect... and of course in the bar you can get just about any beer you like...........but for the most part its mgd and miller lite..... I'm going to have to replace Shiner Bock from Texas as my official wobbly pop of Sox broadcasts. I was planning on waiting for them to reach .500 before buying the mlb extra innings package but will call today and stop watching on my computer. One of teh problems is my 'puter and TV are in different rooms. I'm going to have to go back and forth between the game threads and the game

I never noticed the tie in before A couple weeks ago I was commenting on Shamey and his corked bat on their one local show and for some reason there are s***loads of Cub fans down here who called to defend Shamey and talk about how good the Cubs are etc. So of course I had my opportunity to call back after the series and again was getting slammed. you need a better support system there tex.. or a move up here to chicago lol........ interesting thing Cub fans in South Tex are just as dumb and irritating as Cub fans in Chicago I swear someone said that Shamey was the best DH in baseball. Even the host started laughing

Wish we had another choice or two. Our bullpen is going to have to step up a couple more notches. Maggs, Frank, and Lee are going to need to move their BA up 20 or 30 points each. It ain't going to be one or two guys.
