From Ken Rosenthal's Mailbag
The next couple of starts will settle the debate. I really don't see much of a difference. The game is a joke anyway.

How about a new over/under game

Who's waiting for the new Potter book?
The Cubs were going to have a Harry Potter wand promo but Shamey broke into the supply and corked the wands . . .

damn anti-sox fans
I heard it as democrates and republicans. Still the best to in Chicago debate still comes down to our lack of success isn;t as bad as your lack of success. Damn I wish we were comparing WS wins. I would even trade two or three Cub WS wins for 3 or 4 White Sox WS wins. I might even trade straight up if we won first

Tuesday's game vs. Boston
And that sucked

Tuesday's game vs. Boston
Question... How do you have the lineups before the game goes on the air? Is there a pre-game on FSN? Do you hear it on the radio? Thanks! actually if you go to MLB.com's gamecast of our particular game they usually have it posted about half an hour or so before the game. But FSN usually has them in the pregame, as does AM1000 pregame. Aren't the official, final lineups presented to the home plate umpire just before the first pitch? Until then, changes can be made, correct? Anyway, I'm upset now, because I get the Boston feed for today's game. I have the MLB Extra Innings package, and no Hawk/DJ. I suppose it's better than nothing, though. I love the away feed when we win

cwsox, Do you believe people should be judged more on their actions or what's in their heart? Would it be more wrong, in this case, to believe that homosexuals are somewhat less than than human and do nothing or believe that they are the same as everyone else but scream hate and taunt just to be like a group you are hanging with?

How about a new over/under game
Sure is easier if a couple people pitch in. One way is to allow people to enter PTC and OU in the same email thread. Example: I'm taking Thomas and under Two different people can add up the stats. One guy tracks the PTC the other the OU. I would be willing to alternate with someone on the OU.

Which goes back to something I wrote earlier. We get hung up on the language not the action. We can say dislike but our actions scream hate and vice versa. When we are afraid to speak our minds things begin to get weird. Discuss the emotion in whatever words you like. Rational people can discern what the hell your talking about.

DO you masterbate on a Daily, weekly, monthly.....
You don't get this kind of life changing material on mlb

Who's waiting for the new Potter book?
Like the last one, I'm expecting an overnight from amazon.com When I was living in Wheeling and working in Schaumburg I never would have thought of ordering books online. Here in South Texas we just now had a rreal book store open. I see Waldenbooks and WalMart are discounting the book trying to sell other Potter merchandise.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
This team does seem to make a lot of mistakes. I can still see the look on Crede's face when he realized he need to actually tag the base on a force.

Stuff from the Thomas thread
2000 years ago the people were very similar but their lives are very different. They would live their entire life (30 or so years) in the same area surounded by similar people with similar ideas. They worked much longer hours for a lower standard of living. A simple disease like the flu or diareha diahareera diahrea oh hell the s***s could kill them. On the human emotion side they loved their kids, enjoyed a good joke, were entertained by other people in plays, sports, etc. So we ahve been very similar in that regard for thousands of years.

Not trying to sound like a troll, please don't take it that way but . . . What made your grandparents lives so much better than yours? My grandparents had the Depression and WW2. My Dad served in Korea, there was the cold war, etc. Housing is better today. Life is easier. Better health care. I'm trying to think of any Quality of life issue than is worse now. Nostalgia is for boring people living boring lives and Sox fans remembering our last pennant.

your sig is the best. I lol everytime I see it. Do you think he (KW) could pick some talent and have them perform?

WTF?
Which is why one should always be careful what one says. A lot would depend on the pitch thrown (fastball v. curve), and the testimony of a lot of expert witnesses. I believe in MLB history one person died from a beaning, in the days before helmets. I forget the circumstances, but I kind of remember there was bad blood between the players involved.

Not saying that it was better then, but I do notice we have more ways of communicating and say less. Actually I see the under 25 crowd with more imagination and guts than the 35 to 60 crowd. We avoid conflict, smooth things over. The under 25 crowd will sow what they reap in another 15 years. Your stuck with what your parents started. As far as living lives to the fullest I think each generation has done better. I know I do more than my grandparents or parents and my kids are doing more than me. Education is definately better in a lot of ways. Each generation builds on the previous and the foundation that is being left to the current crop of 20 somethings is too polished, too phony. But in defense of my generation we didn't invent light beer, Zima, or wine coolers.
