I've always been a Boras fan. For months people talked about how important competition is, Boras players don't accept less to help load a championship team. For months we heard how players were receiving too little of the revenue. His players generally receive better than market pieces. He totally supports his players. If I was a player, he'd be my guy.

The players developed skills that can be exploited by the capitalists.

I like Boras. Owners make too much money. Players are receiving too little of the revenue. There just aren't enough agents like Boras.

I don't believe my description was inaccurate. I described their mission precisely. Again, it seems like it should be a permanent team. Which was the question I asked. You read my post and didn't believe that team could be true. So you were as surprised as I was that a team like that wasn't already in place. I'll summarize if the information I'm using is behind a paywall. If something is widely reported as this was, I don't bother with a link. I heard or read it from at least five different news sources. Albeit two seemed to be just repeating the NYT story.

Damn I'm lucky to work at such a cool high school. Our orchestra won a prestigious contest in NYC (a first for a San Antonio school), our visual artists took about 3/4ths of the regional awards and are moving on to state, our girls bowling team won the regional tournament, and our volleyball team is getting their state championship rings next week. I'm surrounded by amazing kids and teachers.
