Agreed. They should go to college and learn a life skill and avoid that whole baseball scheme. The odds of making real money are so slim versus being a PE teacher, insurance agent, etc. It's a waste of their time.

Cutting the regular season back to say 152 games makes each of those games more important. There are a balance between no playoffs and the team with the best record gets the title and everyone in the playoffs. I've wanted top two in each division plus the next two teams with the best record.

No to In-N-Out because I have gone there and Whataburger is vastly superior. No Marriott because I have a RV and Choice Hotel points. No to Forever 21 because why? Tommy Bahama and Lands End have me covered. I'll be back at Cracker Barrel and Tyson. But who knows maybe that will change and I'll have to acknowledge those mistakes as well.

I'm thinking this would be a great season to follow college baseball instead of just when they reach Omaha. My college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros (D1), are 3-0 and drew over 4,000 this weekend.

I will not be going to ChikfilA today even though I've gone there in the past. Admittedly it was a mistake I made then. In it's place I will be eating Kellogg's cereal which I boycotted during the worker strike. I will also choose Joanne Fabric over Hobby Lobby for a project I'm doing even though again, I made a poor choice at the time, and I am embarrassed to say I shopped there. I'm trying to be forthcoming about my past mistakes and the new decisions I'm making.

I would need to actually do some research but it seems that players are reaching the majors quicker but also retiring or facing serious injury quicker. I'm guessing because they have to push themselves to the limit to get a chance. Thirteen years seems crazy to wrap up a player.

@Chisoxfn made a great comment in the settlement thread. Could you owners be angling for a late start, shorter season (150 games) and expanded playoffs? Call it temporary for this year then make it permanent.

Every decision I make, from what I ordered at breakfast to what I will do at practice today, is guided by previous mistakes and successes. So can I issue a blanket I made mistakes in the past and continue to learn from them and am trying to do better?

Why? Can't we just keep making better decisions? But ok, how do you suggest we face up to those times? I'm doing that by making different decisions now.
