  1. Both sides still fighting to save the game? The groundhog saw his shadow, two more weeks of negotiating.
  2. Anyone that signs him will be in for a public relations nightmare.
  3. Apparently if someone says you can slap them they can't change their mind or ask you to stop and you can beat them until they are unconscious. Especially if the other person is a woman and you're a professional athlete.
  4. Of course, they prefer to say война.
  5. I don't believe getting paid for one event every few years will change that.
  6. I'm assuming if we were actually starting the season we would be ignoring him.
  7. Really? Someone built an arena and offered people a chance to compete and have an audience. Someone built this and provided the opportunity. If enough athletes ignore the opportunity there may be changes. But most of the participants have no chance of a medal. It's their dream to just be there. I'm not going to criticize them or deny them the opportunity. If you start paying athletes those participants will be left out while the stars demand higher and higher payments.
  8. Anyone taking sides between the PGA Tour and the Saudi's Tour?

Anyone have experience with an inflatable kayak?
  10. I really don't think the players would report without a new agreement. Let's remember the current one exploits players, is horrible for the fans, and promotes tanking, encourages service time manipulation, etc. Why would they just head to camp? We would just go from lockout to strike. Which functionally is the same.
  11. Let's keep this simple. You believe someone can consent to being beat unconscious and that's ok. I don't. It's bad for our society.
  12. No one is required to compete. They volunteer. You contribute here for free. See those ads on the page, it's a money making venture. If you truly believe taking your labor without compensation is so reprehensible, you would stop posting. But you seem to enjoy posting so you allow yourself to be exploited. Would you refuse if this was a bigger stage and there was a wider audience or would you enjoy having your words read my a wider audience? Thank you for your concern. I appreciate it.
  13. @Two-Gun Pete Indentured servants? Really? They are not in bondage by anyone. They are free to stay home and not compete. They are willingly competing.
  14. Does the bedroom make it any different than say the kitchen? She consented to me beating her unconscious because the steaks were overcooked? She consented to me breaking a few of her bones because the satellite was out. But it's ok because it got his dick hard.
  15. You got to be kidding me, 21 views and no one thought that was funny? Not one like? Lol
  16. 20 years coming up. It seems unreal.
  17. Just ask Fergie Jenkins.
  18. It's a good thought. I'd be interested if it made a difference to anyone. It's not like they are on buses. First class air travel.
  19. Look at it from the other side. If you're his agent, who needs him the most? Whose a biggish market team that could give him to dollar?
  20. Football became America's #1 only after dropping two way players. Expand lineups and specialize. My guess is offense gets paid better than defense. Chicks love the long ball.
  21. I'm for a nine person defense and nine person offense like football. Unlike basketball and hockey baseball could platoon easily.
  22. Perhaps, but I'm thinking there are legally ok things to do that could get a player suspended.
  23. Last I heard we weren't requiring anyone to compete. If they want to compete I'll cheer for them. If they don't want to, that's cool. I wonder why so many athletes are there?
