The idea is simple, each sentence added to the discussion must begin with the next letter of the alphabet and be seven words or less. It must also "make sense" or at least as much sense as other threads here. Almost every game we start is fun.

I was as big critic of his circa 2004 as I am a fan today. I'd love to pull up some threads from that time and see how many here wanted his head. The feeling that 2005 was a once in a lifetime event has been replaced by the feeling this team will be a perennial playoff team for the next 5 or 6 years.

Years cannot be viewed in a vacuum. I'd be looking at the total dollars for his deal and then assuming one maybe two seasons. To use an extreme example to make this point, I'd give Jim a 10 year deal, but at $1,000,000 a year, then assume I was signing him for 1/$10. Same with Dye, two years max.
