    So I wrote a near perfect essay using Gacy as one of my two cases. Covered victimology, MO, different Psycho-social theories, etc. I kick ass in essays anyways, so in an Psychology class, I'm thinking easy A. I get home and check the book that the information was suppose to come out of. f***. Gacy wasn't covered in that book Mindhunter. Damn, s*** piss, mother f***er.
  2. I'm heading to jail for 30 days, any suggestions?
  3. QUOTE (False Alarm @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 09:26 AM) i'd never sell my post count.

    QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) False, Nicolas Cage. To this day, I cannot believe that man won an Oscar and was nominated for another. The person below me is studying for a final. True, well I should be. The person below me was once lost in a department store
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 10:23 AM) I'm assuming its the latter - I doubt many pediatricians, who chose to treat children for a living, would refuse to take insurance if it covered the bills. There may be some, but, seems unlikely to me that most of them would do that. That is always the debate. $100,000 might get you Danks to pitch a game for you, $500,000 to have C.C. Both are "covering the bill" so to speak. So it becomes, if you are the Doctor and already working as many hours as you are comfortable with, a question of caring for that kid for $150 or this other kid for $65 and putting up with closer government scrutiny. Remember, other Doctors abused the system, not we want greater "controls" i.e. more aggravation for honest Doctors.
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 11:09 AM) I want to become more environmentally conscious. What should I do with the huge pile of tires I've been collecting and my vintage collection of mercury based thermometers? Dear Kathy-Lee Thanks for writing! There are starving kids in China who make toys out of those materials . . . So be inspired and start your own factory. Pay the neighborhood kids $.07 per toy. Donate all the profits, after paying yourself $$$$, to charity to avoid the liberal press ripping you apart.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 10:57 AM) I want a Senate seat. That will take SS's count
  8. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 10:14 AM) RC fan? And I'd sell my post count for a cold, decent beer. I'll take that offer. See you in a week or so
  9. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 10:20 AM) I haven't seen that yet, but it would be on the public record somewhere. So basically, after all this hulabaloo, it was in fact the company that were the bad guys (unless the conspiracy theory you mention has any truth to it). Even if it is a privately held company the loan details would be made public? I didn't think that would be the case. It is interesting that they found financing to buy another company when this industry would be facing such hard times, and that the other factory is running double shifts. Greedy owners trying to screw employees, who would have thought?
  10. QUOTE (Shamrock4Life @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 10:15 AM) Some conspiracy theories say that BofA was the bank that floated the loan for the purchase of the Iowa plant. Which would have given thema window of knowledge that the doors were being closed (pun intended)
  11. So it seems that maybe the company wasn't all that bad financially, just looking for a scapegoat to get out of an expensive labor market and into a cheaper one. Damn, why didn't they move to Mexico and help my area out? Seems that someone must have loaned them some money to buy the Iowa plant, or else they had a s*** load of cash on hand.

  13. I give any three GMs credit for pulling off a three way.
  14. Any chance that Dad was doing this behind Jr.'s back? From the limited time I've seen Jr. he does seem a lot different than his father. It wouldn't be easy, but I could be open to Dad's lust for power trying to be the puppet master for his son.
  15. A letter to Soxtalk My boyfriend wants to pretend to make a porn film. He has all the lights and a camera in his room. He promises there will not be any film in the camera. What should I do?
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 07:41 AM) So I am a guy who has policital asperations in his hometown. The economics teacher at my own high school has asked me to come in and give a talk the trading industry and on the banking crisis, but I don't want to bore the kids to death. What can I do to entertain the kids, and maybe help to make them vote for me in the future? Kids like to learn new things. Show them how big league baseball players from the Dominican toughen their hands! They will probably tell their parents and you will have them excited about your campaign as well.
  17. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 10, 2008 -> 11:12 PM) I'd sell for a couple of rounds of drinks and a handjob. First you would have to sell your rum punch recipe for a "blue diamond".

    QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 03:36 AM) Right there with ya... Just took about a 5 minute break after studying for statistics for the last 6 hours, and now I'm moving on to studying for religion. Three "A"s on Stats exams but my lab grade may have dropped me to a B. I really despised having to take a lab for stats. I know it was put in to help the math and stats addled individuals pass.
  19. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 12:52 AM) Why isn't TexSox a post count option in the vote? I was too lazy to look up post counts, I just knew who the top three were/are.
  20. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 12:14 AM) So, I got really hammered last night at the bars and I drove home. I know I shouldn't, but I tried to drive very carefully. Turns out I didn't do so good, because this morning I went out to the garage and found a dude all mangled up and $hit and stuck in the grill of my car. He's still alive but he's really eff'd up, and he keeps asking me to drive him to the hospital. Obviously, if I do that a cop is probably going to see me driving a car with a guy stuck in the grill, and I'm sure that's something he could write me a ticket for. I'm already carrying a few points on my license, so I'm trying to be careful, you know? Any suggestions from anybody who has been in this situation before? The best approach is to look to the government for help. This is a really big problem and it call for a really big answer. I'd call the Senator from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy for advice about vehicle mishaps.
  21. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 07:04 AM) The bailout of the Republic workers cost 1.75M. Any chance at all that BoA or JPM ever see a dime of that money again? Wait, are they closing their doors?
  22. Texsox replied to SoxFan1's topic in SLaM
    Hmm, I think I will check the syllabus and see where I stand before tomorrow's final. Gee, why is it worth so many points?? OH f*** it's cumulative! See ya!
  23. Bank of America and AIG may be buying, or at least lending money based on your post count.

    QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 10, 2008 -> 07:20 PM) True. The person below me regularly crosses to the other side of the street to avoid panhandlers. False. I ask them if they have any change. The person below me has been on double secret probation
