She called me a tool for spendng the time. Why are you doing that? You're not getting anything out of it. He won't even know your alive. SOX PRIDE. I didn't vote much early on but when news broke he was ahead by 1000 I really poured it on. Several 1000. I actually voted more for Thomas. That was back when we could rig it. But Boston was savvy with that too. I think the phone voting is what really pushed this thing to 14.8M this year. They made a lot of money tonight.

HE WON! All our work paid off! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Well that's the whole challenge before KW. You're basically trading for a starter as insurance against El Duque. That starter needs to be able to get it done in the pen as well. I'm not sure how many guys qualify for that dual role.

They are still working on pipelines spanning 1000's of miles from the Caspian Sea. They are setting themselves up to be the main buyers of oil from Iraq & Iran. Japan was a democracy that had to answer to elections & legislative debate. China is not. China will pounce on our arse like a 600 pd Gorilla. They are buying up land & factories left & right in S America to take away our last remaining option of building a strong W Hemisphere trade block. It's game over & we're going down ... ... unless we act now & pass laws demanding retailers provide shelf space for US manufacturers. We need to subsidize these manufacturers with tax breaks for buyers. We can't just sit on our arse & cling to the capitalism of the past while China does whatever they want with little to no consequence for their actions.

Drug patents were never intended to feed monopolies but I agree that is pretty much what they do today. I've not heard anyone in Congress advocate doing away with them. But there are some pushing for shorter time lengths if the drug companies don't help out with rising drug costs.

Well time's up. I was really cranking them out the past 2 hours. In the last hour I realized I didn't have to wait for the thankyou message. I would hit alt <- soon after submitting the vote & it was like a quick flash. The thank you & then the page back. A sweep, numpad dance & another submit & another vote submitted. I figure I avg'd at least 1 vote per 10 seconds or about 700 votes in that time period. I hope it makes a difference.
-
Another tip. The pattern of numbers is conducive to the number pad. Meaning it's faster to enter them in via the number pad than the normal keys. Most browsers interpret Alt <- as back. So move your keyboard so you can do all the key entry with one hand and the mouse movements with the other. You should be able to submit at least 1 vote every 10 secs.
-
Try this for better speed: 1- HIT BACK BUTTON 2- SWEEP MOUSE with TO SELECT VERSIFICATION FIELD THEN DRAG IT OVER VOTE BUTTON 3- ENTER CODE 4- SUMBIT VOTE 5- GO TO 1 & REPEAT

http://outfield.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_sta...529c6b&v2=63485 That's your entire vote. The three keys (v1, v2, v3) are what determine a unique vote. The script itself fills v1, & v3 for each unique vote. The voter fills in v2. If you automate the filling in of v2 it's submitted the same as if a person submitted it. The trick is deciphering the image automatically to fill in v2. TIME's RUNNING SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember DO NOT HIT VOTE AGAIN! Use the back button or key sequence to vote again. It should retain all your previous entries so you just have to fill in the verification code.
-
Don't be surprised if we lose though. You can blame me. I just didn't have time to work on the code. I have written an intuitive java program that tries to determine text characters in an image. It doesnt do so well deciphering images that contain zigs & zags like you commonly find in sign ups but it does a good job on the image you see next to the verification key. I didn't get the time to incorporate it in a bigger script that could automate the entire voting process. Basically one that incorporates the voting html, the flash movie, the deciphering function, fill in verification code, & submit. Then loop the script to run as fast as your bandwidth allows to submit votes continuously. I'm sure I'm not alone in this effort which makes me think a Yankee fan has already done it & spread it amongst his friends. I just wanted to warn you of that possibility. By all means keep voting!

For those who don't know .. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2005/fv/index.html Use save form data on your browser after you have filled everything in. Then after you vote hit BACK on the browser (NOT VOTE AGAIN) & it will pre-fill your form where you left it. You just need to enter the verification code then. There are 3 key variables that get filled every time the form is loaded. Those are auto-filled in the script that's why hitting back on the browser is legitimate. This way you save time not having to check stuff off, & fill in radio buttons.

http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2005/fv/index.html I won't bother walking you thru code .. it's too late. Here's another trick. Use save form data on your browser after you have filled everything in. Then after you vote hit back on the browser & it will pre-fill your form where you left it. You just need to enter the verification code then. -
http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/3254045 It's quite possible Pods is benefiting from a hate Yankee push Keep voting. Speed it up. Save the page .. modify the html to fill in the radio buttons so all you have to do is type the verification code.

I like Moyer as well but if you are still hoping that El Duque finishes strong to start in the post season then Lilly adds more to your bullpen than Moyer. Moyer Pitches 1-15 58AB .362BAA .937OOP, Pitches 16-30 53AB .302BAA .882OOP Lilly Pitches 1-15 54AB .204BAA .623OOP, Pitches 16-30 57AB .263BAA .774OOP Lilly is the much better bet to work out of the bullpen. Right now I am rooting heavily against Toronto. I want them to fall out of it quickly so we can get Lilly cheap. Schmidt, Vazquez, even Burnett all look like bigger risks to me than Lilly. Now if Clemens, Beckett, or Glavine are available you'd be a fool to meet the demands for that trade.

Patent enforcement is definitely a key factor but if you look at where the local & federal governments are moving on this issue it's in the opposite direction. Some in Congress are even debating whether this mega-corps should continue to retain their patents. Patents came into existence to give inventors time to acquire the capital they needed to mass-produce their inventions. Otherwise the wealth barrons having a major advantange in that area would simply steal their inventions. But mega-corps don't resemble the inventor of yesteryear. They are able to go into mass-production immediately & use the patents mainly to charge high prices. It's a good idea unless the wealth barron's themselves possess the patents.

Ok, but you have to go back to Texas as well. To the best of my knowledge he never advocated overturning it when he was the gov. But we know he's advocated a US Cons amendment to protect traditional marriage so it would be nieve of the media and any one else to believe that's not going to be a litmus test. On the abortion issue overturning Roe v Wade does not mean the end of abortion rights for women. Congress has already passed the partial birth abortion ban law & a woman's right to an abortion is both clearly defined & regulated so to speak in that law. I believe the exact same regulations for abortion rights exist in the Violence Against Mothers act as well. The point being that even if Roe v Wade is overturned on the grounds of it being unconstitutional (basically implying that Blackman overstepped his bounds in establishing a right that is not evident in the US Cons itself) Congress has shown it's support for abortion rights in two pieces of legislation that were signed into law. If Roe v Wade is overturned then so will the decision against the PBA law & it will become the law of the land both establishing & regulating abortion rights. The only threat to abortion rights then would be someone challenging the constitutionality of PBA & it's establishment of abortion rights to begin with. That's next to impossible. Such a decision would not only defy the intent of both the legislature & executive branches. My guess is that the USSC would not even both to hear such a challenge. Of course you won't hear reality like this out of radical groups like NOW.

It all depends on whether NASA is registered to do business (profit/non-profit) in Russia. I suspect that because a lawyer is following thru on this they are & that makes them subject to the laws governing their registration class. However; Russia is not as liiberal as we are in terms of how they handle frivolous law suits. If Putin believes this could create an unfavorable international incident he'll probably squash it in the courts. You would be nieve to believe he doesn't weild that kind of "under the table" power.

I do NOT want Vazquez. He has proven nothing in being able to win a big game against an AL opponent. I would rather have Lilly that pitched 7ip, surrendering just 1R in a 2003 playoff game against BOS. He won that game by a score of 3-1. That's a much better option than Vazquez. Much cheaper too. I just don't think Toronto will deal him as long as they are in the WC hunt (5 gb of Min).

Wow! 30 games over .500 & you guys are going at each other's throats as if the Twinkees were 2 gb. They are 9.5 gb & with another in Angel town they could be 10.5 gb after today. I think you should start getting used to the real possibility the White Sox will have 60W & a 10 gm lead over the 2nd place Twinkees by the start of the All-Star game. When you consider this team's home record since 2000 & the home schedule in the 2nd half it's not reasonable to believe this team will not finish with less than 95 wins. The offense has always come alive at home & this year is no different. We have the edge in pitching so being 10 gm over .500 in the 2nd half is very reasonable. DYK the White Sox are 23-9 since Thomas' arrival? Therefore all focus of trade talk should be directed towards beating the Angels or the Red Sox in the post season. At Chicagosports.com the favorite seems to be AJ Burnett of the Marlins. At this time Florida is 3.5 gb of the NL WC will plenty of games left vs Atlanta & the other WC contenders to win it. I think AJB is a pipe dream. Basically when Ozzie says the guys they are interested in are still in contention & haven't decided whether to be buyers or sellers he's telling the the truth. Consider Lilly of the TBJ. Toronto is 5 gb of Twins for the AL WC. They have plenty of games left with the teams in front. That means the White Sox are not likely to even pry Lilly away. Lilly has good numbers against the Angels, Red Sox, NYY, Bal, & Cle. He's suspect against Min & Oak but the past two yr's his 2nd half ERA has been mid-high 3's. Like Radke he's a slow starter but really turns it on in the 2nd half. He also has post-season experience & has started a big game. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlbhist/players/...=6223&year=2003 You can get by the first round with 3 starters. The teams most likely to face the CWS in the ALCS are LAA, BOS, & NYY. Lilly has good solid experience against all 3. Lilly features a good fastball, solid changeup & an effective curve ball. We got El Duque so that he can pitch for us in the post-season. This is a winning strategy because he has such a radical delivery where he releases the ball all over the place. Any one following him in the rotation benefits. But if he's not good to go then Lilly is a better option than Contra. Lilly can be used as a SP or RP. He succeeded in his short stint as a RP years ago & his first 30 pitches are solid. Pitches 1-15 54AB .204BAA .623OOP Pitches 16-30 57AB .263BAA .774OOP If not El Duque then the next best thing is slotting a solid LH with some playoff experience between Garcia & Garland.

The media might think abortion is the central issue here but they've been wrong before. Bush has never advocated overturning Roe v Wade & he well knows that about 60% of Americans do not want to see that happen. But I advocated before that Roe v Wade can be overturned if Congress passes legislation insuring the right. The partial birth abortion bill which Bush signed into law does exactly that. I think if most Americans understood that the PBA law would supplant a woman's right to choose they would be more inclined to seeing Roe v Wade struck down. From a legal perspective RvW is a terrible decision because it is a gross effort to legislate from the bench. They had to manufacture a right that is not expressed in the US Cons in order to establish a foundation for the decision. Since then it's evolved from a narrow 3rd term right to a liberal day after one. A better court could have still established the right under a stricter constitutional sense. But that has never been a core issue for Bush. He has supported a woman's right to an abortion since his roots in Texas. He has opposed abortion on demand. The core issue for Bush is marriage & when a President advocates the need for a constitutional amendment to protect the traditional sense of the institution of marriage as the law of the land it should come as no surprise that this will be his litmus test for the bench. Over 70% of all Americans oppose any redefinition of marriage from the traditional. Bush has the people behind him. The tough road ahead for the Dem is to find justices who are liberal on the issue of abortion but strongly conservative on the issue of marriage. A failure to do so means that Bush will likely be able to appoint a justice who is strongly conservative on both issues.

O'Connor could be viewed as an economic conservative but a left-leaning social moderate. Bush will seek to replace her with a social conservative. It's why he was elected in to a 2nd term so it will be hard for the Dem to block it. Bush should choose a black female for the bench. It will be hard for the Dems to block her because they still have egg on their faces from their treatment of Thomas & how it was perceived by the media & the citzenry. It looked like a bunch of affluent white guys picking on accomplished educated black man. They won't have a prayer against a black female of equal or greater stature.

You are making the assumption that the drug companies will act like a consortium & slow the supply to Canada. I don't think that will happen. Why? Because there are Latin American companies just itching to get those contracts. There is simply too much competition for the bulk contracts. Canada's supply would not be threatened.

Yes or no. Is Jackson's Kong big enough to play with a train like it was a toy in his living room? The answer is no. I'll refer to the 2 movies by their female co-stars since this is an ape love for human female franchise. Both Jessica's & Faye's Kongs were big enough to play with the train like it was a toy. Both of those Kongs could punt this Kong like a football. If you stretched him out he might not even be bigger than a train car itself! Since you are such a Kong lover rent Jessica's Kong (she is so F'g HOT in that movie) & see for yourself why SIZE REALLY MATTERS

As usual you misunderstood completely. I'm not surprised. The gist of my post is that state recognition of marriage & the priv's & rights that affords are basically a grandfathered concept of what marriage meant 1/2 a century ago. That concept doesn't exist any more so the state should have nothing to do with marriage. Extending it to a group that doesn't fit that historical concept to begin with me makes even less sense. Cut the crap with the mob rules or Nazi analogies for the will of the majority. American is a nation of over 150 million literate souls. We have more persons with advanced degrees than any other nation on the planet. Those days when America was mostly an illiterate nation are long since past. The more educated a nation becomes the more the power should shift to the majority. That's common sense. Otherwise you'll continue to set the stage to give rise to dictators that are very efficient at consolidating power & controling the majority.
