My sister and I are looking into joining tonight and I was wondering if anyone has feedback on Bally's Fitness Centers. Specifically, we are looking at the Oak Lawn locaation. The BBB doesn't have any complaints, so that is a good thing. I was just wondering if any one has had direct experience one way or another...

Thanks - I will keep in mind for the next time I bend one lol. I ordered one yesterday morning from a place in Pennsylvania that a guy on the NECO (new edge cougar owners forum) suggested. Hopefully I get the one I order lol. Well, there goes $1550 + $17 s&h onto my car lol.

I tried it. It knocked me out for about 2 hrs and then I tossed and turned all night, but it did take away the aches and pains as well as the phlegm (sp?).

I actually had 3 meals of it over the weekend :puke I try not to have it more than once a month at most.

In my car's CD player is "Scorpion's Greatest hits." I have a ton of other CDs I keep in my car from CDs I put together myself to Queen CDs, to Meatload CDs to ACDC.

You want my job? It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy for 2 days before Christmas Eve. Couple that with the fact I didn't sleep well last night and you get a stressed out Prawn ready to rip on the next co-worker that makes the mistake of asking me for something they should be able to do themselves. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Queen Bee?

Before I go ahead and order a replacement rim (got a flat and the freaking aluminum rim bent - :fyou ... there now I feel better ), I was wondering if anyone knew a shop local to Chicago/suburbs that sells rims. For my rim (16" 2002 Cougar standard) it would be $155 + $17 shipping from Pennsylvania. It doesn't sound bad, but I wanted to check just in case. I did try ebay but there haven't been any that match mine on there since Friday. I wish it wasn't Christmas time because I would treat myself to a set of C2 rims (my full-sized spare is a C2 rim and damned if it doesn't make my car look kick-ass). (C2 are the special edition Cougar cars - Brian had one and had to buy a set of rims after shattering one on a pot hole by the construction yard down the street.)

That makes 3 people that it worked for...I guess I will have to try it.

Damn! I think mine covers 80% after a $300 deductible.

My sister is 12/19 My friend's oldest is 1/1 Same friend's youngest is 12/26 (her middle child in a March (3-23) baby) Co-worker's bday is 12/22 (I think) Seems to be a good time to have a baby!

We only had a dusting at home, Rolling Meadows seems like it didn't even get that and my boss probably can't get our of his house (good thing he took the last two weeks as vacation LOL!).

My mom makes them with honey instead of brown sugar -YUM!

100% - finished Saturday morning after guilting myself into buying more for my nephew lol. Congrats mreye - hope all goes well with the impending birth!

(I think that is what it is called... lol ) I woke up not feeling so well so I want to try something to help prevent me from feeling any worse. I plan on picking up some vitamin C tablets and Brian suggested usinng Theraflu. I know it is supposed to taste bad, but does it help preventing/getting over flu/bad cold? Thanks!

Have you been through the lines for crossing the boarder at Tijuana? There are kids juggling, people of all ages selling food, running for papers, cigarrettes, etc.

Woohoo! I like it when it gets dark earlier. Makes the drive home interesting, but that is besides the point lol.

Like I said, it is better than nothing (which is what many of my dad's co-workers have in the way of health care). When my sister had her son she had to paid very little out of pocket (20% maybe? about the same as I would have to pay). Oh, and my sister went through what your friend went through. So I would agree with your assessment about it's in the eye of the beholder, so to speak.
