Trade idea with St. Louis
The Sox can't really afford to trade pitching away at this point in time.

2004 Ticket Prices
Cool - maybe it's all those damned fees that ticketbastard levies that has me confused.

Thanks - you are saying what I have been trying to type - what can I say, the signals get muddled when they go from the brain to the fingers...

2004 Ticket Prices
Where did you find Hawks tickets for $15? I will be getting tickets when the Canes come to town in March (I think it is March anyways) and I always end up getting one row from the very top of 300 and I thought they were more than that...(haven't looked lately and maybe I am remembering incorrectly).

2004 Ticket Prices
Yes it does have to do with prices. If they make it a little more financially feasible for families/blue collar workers, they get more fannies in the seats. More fannies in the seats would work out to more money. They get the more money and we would get (with any luck) a better product on the field. In any case, they want me to pay more, yet they aren't willing to spend. A little hypocritical, isn't it? And with this post brings the end of conversations on ticket prices. I won't convince you, you won't convince me. Let's agree to disagree!

Oops - I missed that. Sorry! RESIGN SULLIVAN!!!!

2004 Ticket Prices
I think you are twisting something that wasn't said. I am not saying they have to spend more - I am saying put a better product on the field. If it requires a few more dollars, why not? They want me to spend a few more dollars, so why shouldn't they? What's so hard about that concept?

Who says they aren't resigning Sullivan and Graff? I really hope they do.

Aye there's the rub and the crux of the matter at hand.

Did you get a flu shot this year?
That happened to my boss at the last company I worked for - he was the coolest boss cuz he is a Sox fan and would let us listen to/follow the games during spring training and the regular season.

I was shocked to hear Queen's only Christmas song on the radio the other day - I have a copy of it, but I have never heard it on the radio. Good stuff.

How do I do that? Is there an email address listed at the 'official' site? If so, I will - can't hurt and might help.

2004 Ticket Prices
No one is saying it is the Sox fault, but what I am saying is that they shouldn't be b****ing about attendance either when they raise ticket prices and don't improve the product on the field and overall. Yes it is the point (second para). If there are only 2-4, that's all they go. If there are more, there is more of a chance they will go more than that a year.

2004 Ticket Prices
PS - 4 kids makes it a family of 6. That's besides the point. One question. Why don't they offer half priced kids tickets with the purchase of an adult ticket? I know they do $1 tickets for willie wonka days on Sunday, but what about as a season long promotion? That would definitely make it more affordable to families and give a wider selection of when to go. Just a thought/question.

2004 Ticket Prices
During the summer (and yes that is when he does go - (family of 6), but for him $75 is alot), sure but that isn't an option during the school year. How many mondays/tuesday are there in June, July and August for the upcoming season? I heard there weren't many, but I don't have time to go and count now, I'll check later.

If you are talking about the water restrictive device, it is dam. Cursing someone would be spelled damn as iit is a shortened version of damnation. In any sense, I think we knew what ya meant!

Bush to repeal steel tariffs
The steel industry in the US has been dying for years now. I remember when US Steel shut down in 81 or 82, my dad lost his job as well as many of his friends. Also, that area became very depressed and really hasn't recoved as much as hoped. In regards to that, the admin for US Steel should have been thrown in Federal Jail since they took federal money to improve their company's situation and instead took it and did nothing for US Steel, but put the $$$ into their own interests. Of course the gov did next to nothing about this out right theft.

2004 Ticket Prices
I have to disagree about prices not being a factor. They keep raising ticket and parking prices and not giving anything in return, that pisses fans off and the prices are way too high for many. I worked with an engineer who has 4 kids and hates that he can't take his kids to see the Sox because they are big fans, but they can't afford it. They advertise to families, but the prices aren't really all that conducive to families. He tries to make at least one game a year with his kids, but even that is a challenge for him.

Did you get a flu shot this year?
My parents have to get them because of their age and diabetes (per the doctor). I am deathly afraid of needles (which makes no sense because I used to have to give my dad his daily shot of insulin) so I avoid the flu shot.

Red Sox Deal
Being this is a trade and not a signing, I would think there is still a possibility. Although if it did go through, I wouldn't see the Sox resigning Damon because of his agent.

Packers vs. Bears Part 2
Edinger isn't pathetic. From what I recall (lately, my recall hasn't been that great but...) he had an injury and it seems he was rushed back from it.
