I don't disagree that bringing in a player from either China, Japan, Korea or any other country in Asia would help publicity. But that would mean they would have to take a chance when ponying up the dough and with Rein$dork in charge, that will never happen.

I went to UIC and was on the Alumni Association (which covers all of the state colleges) for a little while. They asked us what our opinions were. I personally thought that it was no big deal. From what I know about the Chief, he is representative of many of the tribes native to what we call Illinois. There is nothing cartoon characterish about him and from what I have been told, his headdress and costume were supposed to have come from that and that the dance is also from one of the tribes. If it had been more cartoon characterish, I probably would have thought differently, but at this time I don't.

As long as we are on attendance, have there been any reports of increases in ticket prices, parking fees or such like that? EDIT: Hey, I just noticed that I got a promotion to AA Birmingham!!

Not surprised, but I am disappointed. I also found it interesting that Pedro gets 500K for coming in third whereas Halladay receives 100K for coming in first and Esteban gets 90K for coming in second.

Ditto. Which sucks because this is what I use to get my mind off of work for a few minutes here and there.

Those are the things I don't miss about college. I do miss class (strange, huh?), the friendships and late night study sessions. I miss the study sessions cuz we would hit a wall and get a BS session going. I always thought that I would go back for my Masters, but I don't know if I ever will. I have just started to unburnout from college and not sure if I am ready to burn out again. Not to mention I still have 13000 or so in student loans to pay back.

I don't believe for a minute that JR loves (or even likes) baseball. He seems to have one true passion, money. Everyone says he runs this like a business, if this is true, he doesn't seem to be that good at running a business.

I thought he was from New Zealand or Australia or something (just looked it up and saw it was that he acted alot in Australia - that's where I got that idea from!)...at least I knew he wasn't from the U.S. (I also knew his first name was Hugo)!! He's been in a bunch of stuff or so it seems lately. I saw him in some movies I was watching on the TV a few weeks ago. Dude gets around moviewise.

I caught that too and wondered what that was all about. I liked it, but I could have done without the Trinity dying scene - a bit (ok, a lot) over the top. I never could buy into those two hooking up, she always looked too old for him. If there had been any chemistry between the two of them, I might have been able to tolerate the love story part of it, but they didn't and I couldn't. Agent Smith, you rock! (soon to be seen in Lord of the Rings III).
