George isn't my favorite person either. He's why I don't post there much anymore (no where near what I used to post). I was sick of being called an idiot because I disagreed with him on certain topics.

I was just on msn email (using IE 6.0). I sent and received email without issue.

I joined 11/13/02 - day before my bd - I heard about it at the official stie so I stopped by - and never turned back!!!

I post there (albeit not much any more) and here and I used to post at the 'official' site all with the same name. I am not sure I understand where the hostility comes from between the two site (I've seen at least a few threads at WSI trashing this site)...anyone know where the hostility came from?

lol. Not true in the least. I went to UIC and by no means am I jealous of U of C.

I have a TI-83 buried at my mom's house somewhere. Now I swear by my HP 48GX. This thing kicks some major ass!!!

So, by that thought, I can be the biggest jagoff (cheap, mean, nasty etc.), but as but as long as I go to Church and say 'Yay God" I am okay. Not trying to be a smartass, that is something that I never understood that the Catholic church seems to push - go to church, give us money and we'll pretend the rest never happened. Thats my thoughts as well. apparently you didn't read the responses to why that was a bad post... It's not a bad post, it's a different opinion from yours. I had my fill of the holier than thou clergy in the Catholic religion sinning and then getting protected and rewarded by those in charge.

Electrical Engineering. Currently I am an applications engineer and most days I like it, at least the customers and the guys in the plant that I work with via email.

Yeah, that took me by surprise a couple weeks ago when I was bringing him some dinner at about 10PM. I almost thought I was in morning rush hour traffic for a while.

Age. They thought he was going to retire last year. He scored yesterday if I remember correctly. I am glad to see Cole returned to the ice. I just hope he can return to form. If he, Jeff O'Neil and Francis can pick it up a notch, they should do okay, but I wish they would get another scorer or two.

LOL! My bf does is the same way and he comes home and goes to work at off-peak hours (for the most part). But then again, I am not sure if there is a such thing as off-peak hours on the DR.

It's about damn time those pricks won! One thing I noticed about the Canes is that the opposing team doesn't get that many shots on goal - last night they got 18 shots on Weekes and the man stopped 'em all. I like that the Canes have been getting 25+ shots on goal...now is they can regularly get a few across the line and into the net, I would be happier!

That's my favorite place to go and eat when I am up there! My last fight was with my sister (my bf and I fight, but it has never gotten beyond words) when I was 17 and she was 14. I walked away and that was that - we never fought again - we just ignored each other for 7 years and then we got to be sisters finally after that (when we both had moved out).

I'm 5'4 and my bf is 6'2.

That's my outlook on things as well. I was really religious (thought about entering the convent for a short while) until the age of 16. That's when alot of allegations of child abuse in the church started coming out and the church decided to protect the adults instead of the children. That was enough for me. I hope that God would rather people live a good life rather than not doing good but showing up for an hour to make sure everyone sees you going to church and praying. I do believe in God, I've experienced too much to think there isn't a God.

My mom was watching it last night while feeding my nephew (2 months old so the corruption was limited). She couldn't stop laughing.

I want to, but I think this company that I am at this year won't allow it. So that means I will wear a hockey jersey and see if I can hunt up a 'jason' mask and see what happens when I put it on at my computer. I wonder if anyone will notice?

I, too, would support that system. That was absolutely hysterical!

My bf does the same thing and it really does seem to help him wind down - he comes home POd about having to work a double, he sits at the computer (or PS2) and kills a bunch of Nazis or Zombies or crashes into everything in sight and he is all better within an hour (although he'll play for longer than that). That's why I can't wait to get back in my house so I can finish Road Rage and get ready for the Simpsons game that just came out.

Read about that yesterday. It's sad, but race car drivers know it is something that could happen every time they get in the car.

I've had enough of a lineup filled with power hitters - it doesn't seem to work for the Sox. One or two, fine, I can live with that. I would much rather a lineup filled with speed and guys that can slap the ball to all parts of the field. I hope Robbie does return as he can help teach the infielders a thing or two about defense. I am not sold on Colon. He was not that great this year (for what we paid) and then we offer more and he still won't sign on the dotted line (or so it seems). I think the money should be used to sign someone else. I can't name any names because I am not sure enough of who is available this offseason.

Some days it really seems like it!
