I'm getting sick of the Sox leaving men on so far. The better pull their bats outta their butts and get this show on the road. We can't afford to drop the first one in Detroit.

If his finger is broken, I highly doubt he could bat until it is healed. My bf broke his finger at work a month or two ago and he couldn't grip anything for about a week with that hand and couldn't lift anything with that hand for 2-3 weeks and at that the doctor said he was rushing it. If it is a dislocation, he should be back much sooner.

Okee dokee. Like I said, I wasn't paying close attention and the last few times I stopped to watch an at bat of his he either struck out or flied out.

Are there any morning shows that don't talk more about the Scrubs than the Sox? The majority that I flip to in the morning constantly cream themselves about the scrubs. Every now and then 97.9 will talk about the Sox, mostly only after a big win (the first two in NY this week).

While I understand that people are disgusted with his desicion, what about the first four guys in the line up going a collective 4-18? That certainly didn't help.

Wouldn't be surprised if they lose that this kills the momentum and dent's their confidence. One game? With a rookie starter? I think you are overestimating the affect this will have. I second that. I have to believe the Sox have bigger balls than this...

It's one thing to have confidence in the minors and another to have confidence in the majors - see Garland as an example. He owned the minors and now, 3 years later he is showing he is becoming confident in the big show.

I hope this doesn't mean the tail is going between the legs for the offense today. It's 3 runs that we are down, not 10. C'mon Boys, You can do this!

I am not sure Cotts had any confidence to ruin. That is not a slap at him, just haven't seen enough of him to know if this is a possibility.

Or maybe we rushed him way too much after the injury in ST. He had one rehab start and we needed him right away due to our lacking a 5th starter. Maybe he just needed more time getting his motions back. Or maybe relief is more his schtick, whatever the case, if he can continue the way he's been since he was in the pen, Welcome Back Danny!
