Of course after I order tickets my mom (the tix are for her birthday present) says she wants to go to the game where they are wearing their 1983 unis!

I have often wondered why they call it a convenience charge when often ticketmaster is anything but a convenience?

Ok guys and gals, I am taking my mom (for her birthday - I wonder if I get to be favorite child for a few days cuz of this ) to the game on the 2nd (no way I can get to the park by 6PM on the 3rd) and I have a question about this. In the ad that I got in my email about this, it says something about being able to be emailed your tickets and then you print them out. How does this work? Do I have to take that to the ticket window or just go directly to the gate?

I thought it was in poor taste that these "fans" were booing Busch when he won the race. :fyou Yeah, in the previous race he said he was trying to flatten Spencer's fender - never said anything about wrecking Spencer (who had wrecked quite a few others this season). If anyone thinks that no other driver has said anything like that over the team radio, they are the most naive fans I have ever seen. After everything that has happened between the two, I would be surprised if they weren't gunning for each other. People are saying that Busch is a careless passer, but I have seen Spencer wreck a heck of a lot more people that Busch trying to pass. Yes, Busch is a hard nosed driver who drives like the late Earnhardt a.k.a. 'The Intimidator' drove. I really don't understand why there are so many fans and racers rallying around Spencer - that guy is a joke. He can't pass without wrecking a few cars and is in general one of the poorer drivers I have seen. Now, I am not a Busch fan (GO #99!!!!), but I can't stand Spencer as a driver or the way Busch - who was punched - is being treated. With that said, I thought it was careless that Busch knocked Marlin out. I know he said it wasn't on purpose and I really don't think it was, but he should have been a hell of a lot more careful considering he is on probation and that he would have gotten around Marlin soon enough as Marlin was slowing down. Congrats Busch on your Bristol sweep!

I am an overly supersticious (or stupidsticious as my brother says) and I don't think I could by playoff tickets without feeling like I am going to jinx them. But, if they are available and you can afford them - . GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted for PK just because I expect more bang for the buck. They always say you are toughest on your favorites!

I can't argue with that Jugger. As much as I like Konerko, I know he will land somewhere on a ML roster and I can follow his career from a far. So as long as we get something good back, I think this is a good plan.

You have my sympathies. I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 years ago and it was horrendous. My problem was my bottom 2 - they were impacted. My face stayed swollen and bruised for 2 weeks after the surgery. As it turned out, the dentist said that mine were so bad that I should have been in the hospital for the surgery. My bastard bf had only 2 wisdom teeth and when he had them removed he went to work that night without any pain at all. Prick. Heather - it could be your sinuses or allergies as well. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago when my allergies blew up and it subsided when my sinus congestion did.

If it is true that you cannot be on the 40 man roster to be a PTBL, then I have no guesses. If that is not true, than I guess Konerko or Daubach. As much as I am a big fan of Konerko (completely not pleased with this years performance, don't get me wrong), I think I'd rather keep Daubach if he is willing to stay.
