  1. Yep. Cheat's pretty f***ing good at this s***.
  2. Welcome back again. And I haven't heard that song in a long time. That's a solid song.
  3. I bit off a grasshopper's head once. I've done other dumb things, but I cannot recall enough of them to think of the dumbest thing I've ever done.
  4. What teams did the Bills lose to in their 4 consecutive Super Bowl losses? Name the only state whose capitol city has the same number of letters as its state. Who won the World Series of Poker last year? Which famous sportswriter died within the past year due to complications from surgery? How many NFL teams play their home games in New York? If I think of any more, I'll let you know.
  5. Nah, I think this will be mine for the entire year. There will be some complete pwnership by WSF this year.

    Koch

Now that I think of it, I bet he was zoning inside. When that pitch came, he turned on it and bashed the s*** out of it. One more on the outside corner and Koch gets an out.
  7. Hopefully I'll be celebrating it with the White Sox going into the All-Star break with a double-digit lead in the AL Central.
  8. They're better, I'll give them that much. Also, I was LMAO at this... Not only did they diss the Cubs when they talked about them(like they did every team but Anaheim and Florida...as it really should be), but they dissed them when they were talking about the Orioles too.
  9. Well if you'd only give him some run support, he wouldn't give up 9 runs
  10. Or the Newark Bears. I mean, they have to be good. Even Rickey played there, and everyone knows Rickey's good, even Rickey. "Hell yes Rickey's good. Don't you never say Rickey's not good. Never."
  11. I saw it in my mathbook the other day and I thought it was neat as hell. Escher had a s***load of other neat ass drawings like that too, but I too like his 'Drawing Hands' the most.
  12. What about the Expos(or, maybe by 2005, the team-formerly-known-as-the-Expos)?
  13. If I get this job as a baseball coach, I sure as hell better watch the f*** out.
  14. Frank Thomas Kirby Puckett Thurman Thomas About in that order too.
  15. A lot of times it is easy to predict. However, not a lot of people picked the Sox to be good in February. Not until March did I jump on the bandwagon. And then there's the obvious "No one predicted the Angels/Marlins blah blah blah..." I won't bore you with that. I think that's a little boring to read after a while personaly. Sure there are always exceptions to the rule. But people say that s*** because of what has happened in the past and what will inevitably happen in the future. There is a reason no one picked the Marlins to win last year...consider that they still have never won a division title(though that looks like it could change this year), and that the Angels, IIRC, had never won a playoff series before 2002, and you can understand why no one picked them. You can see why no one picks the Brewers, Pirates, Expos, Devil Rays, Tigers, Rangers, etc...what happens in the past sticks in the minds of many people and will make people think that way all the time. I still look back and laugh at the Vikings not making the playoffs. You wanna know why they didn't make the playoffs? Because they lost to the 4 teams that finished 4-12 in the regular season(believe it or not, it's true...they lost to the Chargers, Raiders, Giants, and Cardinals....LMFAO). They win half of those games, and they are 11-5, and if they win all of them, they are 13-3 and looking at a first-round bye. That's why you have to beat those teams. I also laugh because both the Vikings' and Packers' seasons essentially ended on a 4th and 26(while the Vikings season actually did come to a halt at 4th and 26, the Packers gave up a huge 4th and 26 that was basically a swift kick in the groin, and it ended right then and there when the people's champion Freddy Mitchell caught that ball)
  16. For a second, we'll pretend it is Jim Hendry... Why in the f*** would San Francisco want Moises Alou? Alou is pretty much strictly a LFer, and the Giants have some guy named Barry Bonds in LF. I think he is like 3rd on the all time list for career homers, so yeah. Also...can you say ONE-SIDED? Ho.ly.s***. Cubs get Jones and Giles, Braves get Alfonso and prospects, and the Giants get Alou. For some reason, I think someone is getting the better end of that deal, but I can't seem to put a finger on it. Now, for a second, we'll pretend I'm Kenny Williams Pirates get Milton Bradley, Scott Schoenweis, a bag of baseballs, Felix Diaz, and Carlos Castillo Dodgers get Paul Konerko White Sox get Kip Wells and Edwin Jackson Is that trade not about as fair as the one that this dips*** assclown posted? Just as a future note...don't post that dumbass s***. We don't want to make Cubs fans feel any stupider then they already are.
  17. I can almost guarantee he's playing in New York at the very least, be it with the Mets or Yankees. (clicks red shoes)I hope it is the Mets, I hope it is the Mets, I hope it is the Mets.
  18. Which is why I brought it up. These stupid ass power rankings should not be done until June or July. You can't tell who's actually good and who's not. Judging a team based on 9 games is statistically worse then judging an NFL team on 2 games(5.5% for the MLB, while we are at about 12.5% of the NFL). And you know damn well that you can't judge an NFL team on 2 games(just as a great example, the Bills were 2-0 last year 2 games into the season, and they looked like they were the best team in the league BY FAR(just as the New England Patriots after they were shutout in week 1)...over the next 15 weeks, they looked like the WORST team in the league). So how in the blue f*** are you supposed to judge a baseball team on 9 games? Could the boys in Bristol be any stupider? Right now, IMO, the Sox are a top 3 team in the league. Doesn't mean it will stay that way, does it?
  19. I'd rather have Rowand in CF because he actually has range. Injuries are not something you can control or know will happen. If, in February, the Cubs prosposed a deal of Mark Prior for Jon Garland, would you do it? I know I would. Then again, I didn't know Prior would be out a month or two and that Garland would atleast put up solid numbers and would stay healthy.

    Whoa

Isn't it the truth? I don't think I would love anything more then to turn a poor team around with a limited payroll and then beat the s*** out of everyone else in the league, ala Billy Beane. You don't even have to make the playoffs to do it either. You could go 92-70, miss the playoffs by 3 games, and still say "haha, look what I can do. You need a $150 mill payroll to win, I only need $30 mill. You could not do this if your life depended on it." I think it would just be a feeling of pride and joy and a cockiness that no one else has.
  21. Or because they played like the White Sox

    Koch

    This is very true.
