Oguleyne Still a Possibility
Robert Gallery. And, in all honesty, I would not be surprised in the least if it took more then 2 first rounders to get Gallery. He's supposed to be that f***ing good. Considering that...I would just keep the picks. The only time trading up is really worth it is if your team is one playmaker away from being great(the Falcons for example...they traded up for Michael Vick, and they went from being bad to being good with just Vick). Gallery is that type of player, but I'm just not sure he'd push the Bears over the top, if you get my drift.

Huge Double Standard in this Town
This is an excellent question. I wish I had the answer.

Damon is "Nomad" Backwards...
We know. It's like watching a fire that firefighters are trying to control, and you just add more wood to the fire. See this post? More wood. Damn, I'm a dumbass for posting and keeping this thread alive. My bad.

Damon is "Nomad" Backwards...
Sorry, but this thread is pointless. Hey guess what guys, Konerko spelled backwards is okrenok.

Wunsch off DL?
FWIW, regarding shipping Kelly out of here... I'd also take Mark Bellhorn...he's not great, but he can play every IF position quite well and has a little power from the LH side of the plate, along with some patience at the plate as well.

Congratulations... ...on starting the STUPIDEST thread of the year. :headshake :dips***

Gammons on the White Sox....
I can agree with that very much. I do think that Anaheim is about 1 real good starter away from doing a s***load of damage.

Since you are kind enough to say "Go Bills!", I will be kind enough to take back my boo for Miami... ...until the season starts.

Gammons on the White Sox....
I knew it was Dallas something. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm not sure pitching keeps them out of the playoffs though. IMHO, Oakland is keeping them out of the playoffs right now. If Oakland plays well enough, Anaheim is out and they have to hope to the heavens above that they can get lucky enough to get a Wild Card again and get in that way. If Oakland falters, Anaheim is in, because there is no other team good enough in the AL West to compete with Anaheim outside of Oakland. Basically, they have the team to get to the playoffs, but Oakland is better then them and has the better shot at getting to the playoffs. The AL West is Oakland's to lose, IMO.

Williams and Clarett No Goes
Let Williams in, make Clarett wait another year. However, if this ruling holds true, a lot of teams boards just got f***ed up big time, and Reggie Williams could potentially be a top 10 pick, and probably at the very least is a top 15 pick. Good news for Reggie Williams and bad news for quite a few other teams.

Dillon a PAT
I wouldn't say Corey Dillon is a top RB in the league anymore. He was maybe 2 or 3 years ago, but I wouldn't say so anymore. Hopefully, he does more harm then good and the Bills can beat them twice this year(or atleast once like last year)

NBA Playoffs
They looked damn good last night with the exception of one little spell in the 4th quarter(I did not watch the entire game, but my dad told me that the Wolves were getting jobbed for quite a few calls in the 4th)

Will someone please tell stupid Cub fans
I wonder how he would pronounce "Buehrle"... "Mark Bu-eh-erle takes the mound to face the Cubbies today." How about Mientkiewicz? "And Wood throws ball 4 to Doug Mi-ent-ky-wicks." Let us not forget Ichiro. "Itch-i-ro(or Ick-e-ro) gets his 2nd hit today. By the way, since when did these damn players start using one name? What in the hell is up with that?"

Ty Law
I'm confused. He essentially runs from the cops, and flees at high speeds in his Rolls, yet is only charged with failure to obey a police officer and resisting an officer. Should his punishment be worse then that? Obviously, you can tell I've never been arrested and I don't know the laws real well, huh?

Uh-oh
I know what you mean. Why don't they just buy someone?

Gammons on the White Sox....
IMO, Gammons is not a source that should be listened to, unless it involves trading, because what he says is recycled stuff. We knew all of the s*** that he said about the Sox about 2 weeks ago. He is pretty much Captian Obvious without the cape and suit. I mean... ...uh, duh? (BTW, what I mean by he should pretty much only be listened to regarding trading is that you then find out who your team is interested in...not saying that the proposed trades he brings up are entirely accurate or that they will happen.) And I highly, highly doubt Anaheim resigns Glaus. They have a top 3B prospect coming up(Dallas something...I'm quite sure his first name is Dallas though), and I wouldn't be surprised to see that money that was spent on Glaus this year is put to other needs, like another starter, an upgrade at SS, another reliever, resigning guys in house, or something else. I have no idea where Glaus would go, just that he would probably go.

Loaiza and Konerko contracts
A-f***ing-men(though it would be hard to get the Kevin Brown at the deadline, considering he is wearing Yankee pinstripes, but I do understand what you mean...get a RJ/Halladay/Hudson type pitcher...however, I would also take Piniero/[Kip]Wells/Jason Schmidt too...I want a quality-ass pitcher who is going to throw the s*** out of the ball come postseason time. A 1-2-3 is an important thing which is why I felt our shot last year was so good had we gone to the playoffs...silly me, I brought up 2003 again ).

New Starter in the Yank Series
I bet he features a fastball and an offspeed pitch to, and he probably has a breaking pitch too. Fastball is probably somewhere between 75-95 MPH. Now can anyone else add to this info, or no?

Secret message makes it into new park
- What is wrong
Pay now and save future humiliation.- Is this a thing of beauty or what??
Just to point it out, Clement hasn't exactly stunk. He's only average 5 IP per start, but he's 1-1 3.60 ERA 1.40 WHIP .200 BAA, but has had bad control(however, he has 11 K in 10 IP). Not great, but not bad. I'll take it though. So long as they continue to lose and continue to prove me wrong...I'll take it.- Double kudos to Esteban
I do. I saw Esteban do it last year...several times.- New Starter in the Yank Series
I'm smelling a 8-2 win over the Yanks on Tuesday.- Call it a hunch
Sosa usually hits .280 40 120 .950 OPS with triple digit walks and K's each year. He is very marketable and very likeable(except to those who dislike his hot dogging ass), and brings fans to the park. Maggs usually hits .300 30 110 .850 with more BB's then K's, but never more then 70 or 80. He is likeable and marketable, but does not bring fans to the park. If Sosa is 34, I take him in a second over Maggs. Due to the fact that he is 36, I consider it long and hard, but in the end of the day, I probably take Sosa over Maggs anyways. Maggs is a great player, but unless he has 2002 every year, he is not as good as Sosa IMO. - What is wrong
