  1. Just curious as to why you would move Thomas back to the 3rd spot in the lineup. Maggs has really done nothing to lose his spot in the order. Do not tell me it is Thomas's OBP. Part of the reason Thomas moved was due to his OBP and Maggs constantly GIDPing after a Thomas walk.
  2. Let's get out of 3rd place and into 1st place!
  3. Is he the next McNabb just like Ell Roberson is the next Michael Vick(only right-handed this time)? Harris is a 4th round pick or beyond for a reason.
  4. You are not only misguided on this subject, but you are flat out insulting Carlos Lee right now. Carlos busts his ass damn near all the time. I want him traded because he is not maturing like he should and he's making too damn much money. If he could draw walks, he can become baby Manny Ramirez. Guess what, he can't take walks. I can almost guarantee you that if he combined the patience he showed at the plate in 2002 with the bat he showed in 2003, he can put up .320 35 120 numbers with a .950-1.000 OPS. That's worth the $9 mill he will make next year. The .280 30 100 he will probably put up are, quite frankly, not. I'm all for giving Reed a shot. I like Brando's idea of trading for Odalis Perez. Sounds good to me. Gives us 5 good starters, another (potential)good reliever in Wright, and a LH bat in the lineup.
  5. He should be if they're in contention. That would be sad if he wasn't.
  6. Jones seems OK. I thought they would get someone better though. I'm still f***ing shocked as s*** that the Bills traded up for JP Losman, not only because it just f***ing came out of nowhere, but because I was thinking that the Cowboys would draft Jackson for sure. I was hoping for a trade-up with Houston at 10 to get Roethlisberger, but I can't say that I'm upset after day 1. Buffalo gets the 3rd receiver they really need, and have a nice trio of receivers, with Moulds just being a solid all-around receiver, Reed being a possession type of receiver, and then Evans who can flat out fly. I'm hoping Losman can figure s*** out within 1-2 years in the league, because I am not really all that confident in Drew Bledsoe. BTW, how about the Lions? They actually look like they have an offense that is coming around. 2 damn good receivers, a good RB in Jones...they could be a surprise team that maybe wins 6-8 games this year. I still think their defense is a little shaky, and that wil be the thing that makes them a mediocre team this year.
  7. How in the hell is Matt Ware still available?
  8. Not making it makes little sense to me. For Crede(a kid who has looked like s*** and only shown brilliance on occasions), you get Aubrey Huff, a LH power bat at 3B. Crede's better defensively, but I just don't know how you can't take Huff. But to each his own.
  9. 1) Uribe - 2B 2) Rowand - CF 3) Ordonez - RF 4) Thomas - DH/1B 5) Konerko - 1B/DH 6) Valentin - SS 7) Lee - LF 8) Olivo/Alomar - C 9) Crede - 3B If Crede does not improve his game by July, we need to look into a different 3Bman(can't be positive he would be available, but I would look at Aubrey Huff from Tampa, even with him struggling now). We could also look into trading Lee for a starter, but keeping him would not hurt my feelings.
  10. LOL Obviously, I didn't quite mean it that way
  11. Where in the blue f*** did that come from?
  12. Can the Saints get any dumber? They needed a CB last year, so they picked Sullivan. They needed a CB this year(and a few good CB's are available like Gamble and Carrol), so they draft Will Smith. I would guess Minnesota picks Udeze(on time this time around), but I've missed about the last 5 picks, so I would say don't count on it.
  13. Damn, I thought Tampa was going to pick Wilfork or Jackson. Clayton surprised the hell out of me.
  14. Wow. That surprises the hell out of me.
  15. The way I said it, I kind of did. But I'm almost positive that what I said will come true. And the Bears do have the choice between Wilfork and Harris IMO. I take Wilfork, but I also like bigger DT's to take up space and maybe take 2 or 3 linemen, especially when you have a good LBing crew(and I'd say Brian Urlacher is pretty good).
  16. That's my first and last prediction...didn't see your request dan. I won't do it anymore
  17. f***. The Bills will either draft Will Smith or Kenechi Udeze or will trade down. Book it.
  18. With Sam Adams and Pat Williams as DT's? I don't think so. I hope to f***ing god the Bills move up RIGHT NOW. I want Roethlisberger
  19. I got an idea. Heads, have a chapter for every win the Sox get this year, which means you have some catching up to do.
  20. One of the proposed deals for Ogunleye(1st, 2nd/3rd, and Gandy/Gibson for Miami's 1st[20th overall] and Ogun) would be perfect in that scenario. They get a good damn DE who is a sack-master, and get Evans at 20(maybe a little high, but it is better then taking him at 14), and they can still get a decent DT with their 2nd/3rd round pick. If they have their 2nd, I would guess they'd look at Olshansky. If 3rd, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. Miami could then secure Andrews at 14.
  21. Yeah. As I said before, the Royals are done. Stick a fork in them.
  22. I may just wander myself to the chat room. Usually don't do them, but I may just do it tonight.
